I was the same way and then I decided to get the audio version from the library. I liked it much better. It was slow in the beginning but it got better.

Ty, I thought it was predictable. Knew what was going on from the beginning although it was a big family secret. It's labeled as a romance but I didn't feel the romance, at all.
The humor, to me, wasn't funny.

Okay, I took a chance listening to both Samson's Lovely Mortal& Jacobin the matter of two days and all I can say is neither of them captured my attention what so ever!! If I was forced to choose I preferred Jacoband thats just because I'm a hopeless romantic <3
So, I'm going to be that annoying person asking the same question over and over just because the last two books I picked on my own were definite disappointments for me:( I'm very ocd and even if I really don't like a book I'm tortured to finish what I've started.
PLEASE RESCUE ME FROM MYSELF!!
I need a new series to tackle and your advice always points me in the right direction. Can anyone recommend without a doubt that I would be crazy not to read one of the following series:

Try the Cassandra Palmer series by Karen Chance. It's something different and might hold your attention because of that. I have to say I am in a similar reading "funk". Can't seem to find anything to suit my mood. Good luck!

Magda, What do you think of the Rhiannon's Law series? You think it will keep my interest? We seem to have very similar taste so I'm very interested in your opinion!
