It IS!!! The only thing is you have to be able to get past the fact that its a little drawn out but I think its necessary so you can relate to the characters fully if that makes any sense?

I have come to expect that with a Kristen Ashley book, I find all of her novels a little long winded. However, I think it's just her "voice" and how she tells a story--and I definitely like her stories. Thanks

Her Mystery Man series was my favorite of the ones I've read so far. They are awesome.

But I'm so excited! I love a new book in a good series. This

Origins in Death is one of my favorite JD Robb books!! I've read it a few times...my go to book if I can't find anything that grabs my attention...or after I read a really crappy Anita Blake book :)

Bah...i not only bruised myself falling, this last book I fell off the ledge and on my way down vowed to kill Anita Blake with my own hands. Horrible...no plot, the obligatory Anita hating lawman...and where the HELL did Jean-Claude go?? Kick her to the curb I say...and read the spoilers in the book review, cause there is the whole book.

I am doing City of Ashes for a buddy read and like you I am hoping its better than the first book. I just don't understand how it gets all the 4-5 Star ratings ... something must change... it's gotta!

Oh, is City of Bones bad? I've heard such mixed reviews for it but I just bought it this weekend. I guess it was only 99 cents so if I hate it I didn't spend much on it.

I am reading Riley Jensen right now. I just finished book 3 and I am loving it. I haven't read the other series. I can't believe it took me so long to move this series up on my TBR. So glad someone else chose it for me in a challenge.

I personally liked City of Bones and the rest of the series. I have heard good and bad things as well but I enjoyed it.

PA try the "The Three" Series opener

Thank you, I'll place my order for that one

There she sat, the coffee cup half full and likely cold, gripping that damn book again. Joe had come home from work for three days in a row now this week to find Marcia sitting on the couch, legs curled under her, the dim light of the end table lamp casting a glow on her enthralled form, reading a book with a necktie on it.

I agree! I wanted more of an ending.

It's really good! Wait till you get towards the end at the rooftop scene it almost made my cry!
