I can't sleep and feel like a kid on Christmas morning when a book is about to be released. I wake up and the first thought on my mind is not a cup of coffee but the book....I know my friends would think I was crazy if they knew.

You should definitely put this next on your list ... you won't be disappointed; it will be hard to put down ... I read to the last available book =D ... I'm starting Tangle of Need as soon as I finish Highland Nights (Druid's Glen, #2) by Donna Grant . I can't wait.

I'm also reading Artemis Fowl (Artemis Fowl, #1) by Eoin Colfer , but I don't like it that much.

@Katya - I liked it too, it was sort of short but the plot played out nice.

The only thing I did not like about this book was the fact that it was over too soon. I'm probably going to reread it tomorrow though since I'm going to a meet and greet with Nalini Singh on Tuesday.

I've managed to get a whole two chapters read all afternoon, thanks to laundry and my lovely, lovely children. Thank goodness it's almost bed time!

Judging from what I read on the author's webby, it doesn't look like anytime soon. I think "2013ish" was mentioned. ugh!

I wish I would have gone more slowly when I read the book. It would have drawn it out a bit. But I more or less only took breaks to eat and go to the bathroom and I was finished way to soon.

In retrospect, had I known the non-existent release date of the sequel AND how fast I would gobble it up, I probably would've have taken some time to savor this. The wait. always. suck.

I absolutely love him although he can be a bit graphic at times and they certainly are not novels for the faint of heart. I am also currently reading my own novel possessions to give it a one last thorough look through.

Love it-a hawaian shirt wearing priest...oh and vampire....this should be good.

Ty slogging through Demon Angel (The Guardians, #1) by Meljean Brook . I hate to leave a book unfinished, but this one is truly a struggle... to read, to care, to finish... Which is truly disheartening since I loooved The Iron Duke. le sigh.

I thought this one started incredibly slow, but it picked up speed in the second half. Once you are done with the past, it's a lot better.

I am surprised you have not ventured to this series yet. You will not be disappointed. It is one of the best.

Max's book was pretty good, but the next book Play of Passion (Psy-Changeling, #9) by Nalini Singh is one of my favorites. Drew is pretty awesome. It's right up there with Riley and Mercy.

I am the same way. I use Google Calender to remind me of releases. I DL the last Jeaniene Frost book at midnight the night of the release and I finished it by 4 am. LOL

Vanessa (aurorapixi) | 187 comments It has been ages since I've posted on here. Haven't done too much reading lately. I stopped reading Needful Things by Stephen King . When I say I wont read an author I should just stick to it, could not get into this book. Then I read The Help by Kathryn Stockett which was awesome and well written. I recommend it to everyone, I loved it. After that I read A Brief History of Anxiety...Yours and Mine by Patricia Pearson which sucked. It was terribly written and just a conglomeration of the authors life experiences and everyone elses ideas on anxiety. Now I am doing a buddy read with someone here in town of Dracula by Bram Stoker and enjoying it. Nice to have finally met someone in my area that enjoys the same type of books as I do.

I felt the same way after reading Hard Bitten. Originally I was so upset when I finished I gave it 2 stars, then I went back the next day and revised my rating. I haven't read book 5 yet but I hear it makes up for it.

That's just the thing. I didn't even write a review for it, just rated it. I think some distance between me and the Chicagoland Vampires will do some good for our relationship. LOL So I just went back to the hot and flamable passion of our beloved Breeds for now.
