Beth | 18 comments I just finished City of Lost Souls, which I absolutely loved! I was so disappointed with City of Fallen Angels last year, that I was nervous to pick up CoLS...I have to admit that Jace and Clary are getting kind of old and comfortable (they just need to do the 'deed' already to spice it up...or have a chapter like Chapter 9 in Clockwork Prince between Jem/Tessa) but I loved the brazenness of Alec/Magnus and completely fell in love with Simon all over again! I found the complexity of Sebastian's motives/evildoing plot to be awesome!

Now, to answer the actual question-- I just started Wings of the Wicked which is the sequel to Angelfire. This book chronicles Ellie (who strangely is the archangel Gabriel in human form) and her guardian Will...I hate reading a trilogy as the individual books are released, because I forget within the year what happened in the previous book...but Wings of the Wicked is pretty mediocre in the YA angel genre. I haven't been wowed as I was with CoLS or riveted/havingtoturnthepageandreadintotheweehoursofthemorning as I was with The Hunger Games...but-- I was able to get this book from the library to tide me over until my birthday next week where I can buy Last Rite- the final book in the Personal Demons series!

Emily | 60 comments In the midsts of Vampire's Kiss by Veronica Wolff . SO GOOD. Just like the first book in the series Isle of Night by Veronica Wolff . Captivating. The action is nonstop. The romantic tension is crazy. LOVE IT. Totally recommendable to teenagers who love action, a girl who is independent, and romance. :)

I have been wanting to read the Dream Man series. I like Kristen Ashley's writing but she has had some mixed reviews on this series. Her latest book in this series just came out. I may have to bump it up.
I loved Lothaire (Immortals After Dark, #12) by Kresley Cole . I hated him so much in the series but fell head over for him in this book. He is still ruthless and I love that the author kept him bad.

People said you don't need to read her Highlander before Fever, true enough, but while waiting for Fever, I read Highlander and found that it shed more lights and connections to names and backgrounds to make Fever even better. Enjoy KMM, you'll be finished and wait for her next read like the lot of us.

I know what you mean, I was so mad when I finished that book that I literally threw the book across the room in frustration. I waited for the rest of the series to come out before I finished reading it so that I didn't have that problem again.

Just finished Bound to the Prince by Deborah Court it was okay. Now I'm working on
Fantasy in Death (In Death, #30) by J.D. Robb Demons Prefer Blondes (Demons Unleashed, #1) by Sidney Ayers Magic to the Bone (Allie Beckstrom, #1) by Devon Monk
and Tempest Rising (Jane True, #1) by Nicole Peeler which should finish up my challenges for the month.

I've also been reading Mystery Man (Dream Man, #1) by Kristen Ashley I'm really liking her writing it's fast, fun and the characters seem real not just words on paper like some can. I have the rest other the next two on my ereader waiting and will be getting the fourth soon.
