I love any of Julie Garwood's historical romances. I think that is her strength and they typically are instant re-read material! Glad you enjoyed The Prize. Have you read any of her highland series?

I love the snark between her and Curran and how their relationship builds. This series is darkly intense, funny in places and the characters are wonderfully developed. The world building is incredible. Rich imagery. The list goes on and on. :)

Christy (christy_kennedy) | 184 comments Just wrapped up Born of Silence (The League, #5) by Sherrilyn Kenyon . Hands down this was one powerful book, it kicked my butt! The League series is beyond fantastic! I actually like these books better than her Dark Hunter books and that says a lot because those are wonderful as well.

613 pages long, but like the previous books in this series, it hits the ground running and does.not.stop! I look forward to Hauk's book next year.....next.year. I have to wait a whole frickin' year to hear from him. Grrrr! Lol, oh well. On to new worlds. :)
