What are you reading right now?

Anika, I loved Beauty Dates the Beast...that looks like..."
I'm interested in book 2 which will continue where book 1 left off but this book will be about Sara and Ramsey the Bear-shifter and I'm very interested to read what happens next. Book 1.5 is about Vamps. Yeah I might read that too.

interested to hear why made you so annoyed. I read all of the Darkyn and pretty much walked away with an incredibly "meh" feeling... It just didn't grab me. I was ignorant of GR [gasp] at the time and read it just to have something to read.

I just picked up Fate's Edge myself.

Crux and A Brush of Darkness
A Brush of Darkness reminds me a little of the dark fever books by moning.

I hated that about it as well.
I decided I need a PR/UF break and am now reading
and trying to decide what I want to read after.[bookcover:The Witness|12716613]

Favorite series I've read this year. and it's all because of one thing: Curran. :) have fun with this one!

Give Kate some credit. Curran wouldn't be nearly as much fun if he didn't have Kate to drive him crazy!
: )

LOVE me some Cat and Bones!!! There's 6 books so far and 3 more set to be released :)

this is very true. However, Curran can do scary crazy all by himself. ha.
Night Huntress is a great series also! I'm holding off on the last one only because I don't want to finish it all in a rush and then WAIT eternally for the next one (glares at Kate&Curran)

Chicagoland Vampires might be my favorite series...

That's good to hear! I'm really enjoying book 2, and even though it's clear who the HEA will be at the end of the series - I'm enjoying the development of relationships with all of the characters. I'd say the only thing that bugs me about the series is that she's always wearing a high ponytail with bangs, and I'm sorry but the 80's aren't having a comeback around here. However, I can overlook that. ;)

I liked the Darkyn series, but could not get into the Kyndred series. The first book in the Darkyn series was a little intense because of the reconstructive surgery etc but it settled down, and some of the books are better then the others. I always try to finish and try the second in the series before I give up on a series

The homepage for roadrunner mentions that many libraries around the country are banning or not purchasing the 50 shades of Grey series claiming that either it has gotten poor reviews or that it is not suitable material for their readers because they consider it "mommy porn". Talk about censorship. But they'll put any politician written book in their collection. Talking about questionable material. All they're doing is making more people check out the series.

Cat & Bones are the best! I LOVE this series. They are one of the steamiest immortal couples ever. Have read them all and the 2 books from the spin-off The Night Huntress World as well. Now I can't wait for the next Cat & Bones as well as the new spin-off based on Vlad coming out in September I believe "Once Burned" so excited!

Oh Delaney, I LOVED the Demonica series by Larissa Ione. Read all I think there are 5 books in total in it and I liked them all a lot. Then she spun-off the Lords of Deliverance series using some of the characters from it which I also plan to read because I really enjoyed her writing and the characters she created in this series. Hope you like them as much as I did.

I thought Hounded was a great book!!

You're lucky, at least the fourth book is out now. I had to wait 3 weeks for it.

Now I'm reading

If you liked the first book in the Fever series, you will love the rest.

She's my all time fav author.I didn't think reconing added anything to the series. I read it after I read all the others. It was okay, but no Cat so I didn't love it.

Now I'm reading

Yup most definitely. That series is intense from the first book thru the last. Mac & Barrons keep it fast n furious for sure.

One of my favorite series ever!! I love me some Charley....
Right now I'm working through

Now I'm reading

I love the Iron Druid Chronicles. If you like Hounded, you'll love Hammered and Hexed. Atticus and Oberon may be my new favorite "couple". ;P

I looked for this on Amazon and it doesnt show up there yet.

You are right this is a really good book and now I can't wait to read the rest of them!!

I think I accidentally did that with this series as well. I read book 10 first and then went back and read it from book 1. It's a fun, light series. Easy to read.

Nothing on Smashwords or B&N either...but on the series website I found this:
"As far as future work in the Elemental Mysteries world goes, I’m still working on Carwyn’s book, which will tie into the Elementals world, but definitely be a stand-alone story for our favorite priest. Rest assured, it will NOT be simply a rehash of Gio and B’s story from his perspective. That Carwyn is an interesting guy, and he has his own story to tell. I’ll keep you posted as I write more. I’m also working on a short story to introduce another paranormal series that’s in the planning stages. I’m hoping to have that up as a short over the summer, but we’ll just have to see how it goes. It’s a very exciting new world I’m developing, and I can’t wait to really dig into it."

Yup, me too but I started at book 8. I am now re-reading them again and enjoying the same amount as I did the first time.
