message 21358: by PNR lover (new)

PNR lover | 430 comments Dire Needs (Eternal Wolf Clan, #1) by Stephanie Tyler I'm halfway through this and I have got to say there is way too much information to take in with different factions, history etc. I have stopped reading, this book is a sample of overload on the information. I will get back to it eventually.....

I'm now on Dying Wish (Sentinal Wars, #6) by Shannon K. Butcher and boy am I loving it.

siren's call was so-so for me. entertaining but fustrating. idk why but it kind of bored me.

tempting the beast was fantastic though! super hot and passionate. great read.

Well...actually I think Blay and Quinn will be together but Ward will make us suffer for a while, I'm ok with it though. It's one of those "hurt-so-good" relationship that had me yearning for more and aching for HEA.

Crazy4more, I saw your post about Nora Roberts. I haven't been on for a few days, so sorry it's late. I haven't read her Circle series yet but you might like her Three Sisters Island series. Dance Upon the Air (Three Sisters Island trilogy #1) by Nora Roberts is the first and it is a trilogy. I read it a few years ago and I really liked it. It is about witches and I think most put it as a PNR.

Finishing up Angel Evolution (The Evolution Trilogy, #1) by David Estes and about a 1/4 into The Rest Falls Away (Gardella Vampire Chronicles, #1) by Colleen Gleason It is pretty good so far and I am quite enjoying it. Glad everyone told me so, as that is why I started reading it. Then I need to start on Ink by S.J. Davis I am kind of excited to start this one and see how I like it. Reading it as a R2R.

message 21382: by Delaney (new)

Delaney Reimers (delaneyakafrog) | 347 comments I just read Ink by S.J. Davis I was really disappointed in it. It was a very fast read as it only had about 80 pages. I was really excited about reading it because it is about an Indian girl, but for me it just fell flat. It moved to fast because of how short it was and things just didn't get explained like they should have. Sparrow was great and I loved Lyane's devotion to her. But I just found it lacking and was a little confused throughout it.

I love me some Roarke, too! I've been doing a series buddy read in another group and we read one book each month and we're up to #5 this month. I like the series so far, but I think I would get tired of it if I read several of the books back to back. The mysteries are a little too easy for me to solve. Have you listened to any of them on audio? I love how Susan Erickson does Roarke's accent. I find myself sighing over him and forgetting it's a woman reading his lines.

That's a good place to pause. The next two books after Riley and Mercy we're probably my least favorite in the series. But #9, Drew and Indigo, is up there with Riley and Mercy.
