By the way, Immortal Rider is also sitting on my nightstand. I can't wait to read it. I loved the first book. Yea, for someone else who loves Highlander books as well!!!!

Denise Nanna | 1321 comments Please help me out here all of you.
I have loved the Shifter series, Chicagoland Vamps, Mercy Thompson, Alpha and Omega, Dark Swan, Kate and Curran, Cat and Bones, Charley Davidson, Stormwalker series, Rachel Morgan, Vamp Academy and probably some I am not remembering. I love the close but not overly sexual relationships.

I have also read the Highlander, Fever, Demonica, Anita Blake, Psy Changeling, BDB, etc.

Can you make some more recommendations for me that are similar to the first group?

Shifters Unbound is fantastic. I get bored with the same format over and over in PNR and they caught and held my attention from beginning to end. I haven't picked up the 3rd yet, but the 1st 2 are fantastic.

Cool. I really like how the relationship between Lily and Rule evolves through the series.

Also, I can't believe I forgot to recommend the Jesse James Dawson series by K.A. Stewart.
A Devil in the Details (Jesse James Dawson, #1) by K.A. Stewart A Shot in the Dark (Jesse James Dawson, #2) by K.A. Stewart I picked them up on a whim because I liked the covers and was pleasantly surprised by the stories. Jesse is a human with no magical abilities who dotes on his wife and young daughter. When someone barters their soul to a demon and later realizes what a dumb idea that was, they hire Jesse to fight the demon and end their contract. He does this with his wit, his sword, and the occasional charm from his witch of a wife. It's a really neat change of pace to read about a happy family man without any of the mysterious powers we see so often. And he's got a great collection of snarky T-shirts.

I just started Hunted (Brides of the Kindred, #2) by Evangeline Anderson . If I can get over Sophia I may enjoy the book. She is extremely annoying. The female in the first book(Olivia) irritated me but you could somewhat understand her frustration. This girl in the second really gets on my nerves. I have never read such a meek character. I like the story but I do not like her.

Lothaire (Immortals After Dark, #12) by Kresley Cole next... I'm super excited to start this book I have been waiting to read it on vacation since it came out ! ...

Just finished reading Visions of Heat (Psy-Changeling, #2) by Nalini Singh didnt love it like the first book in the series Slave to Sensation .. I found visions of heat to really drag I guess it was more "world building" than anything even the romance for me was lackluster ... but I dont think my head was really in this book just saying ... the other reviews were excellent so its probably just me haha
