Yeah I've been wanting to read this one too. I think I'll bump it up my TBR mountain!

Ann | 159 comments Question: I thought this discussion was for what PNR/Urban fantasy you're reading right now? Why are some readers posting bks that aren't in this genre?(non PNR/Urban fantasy). Just curious.

message 19753: by Magda (new)

Magda | 558 comments Ann, I think we're all guilty of this & I don't mind. It actually helps me because if I know the person has enjoyed a certain book (BDB, Night Huntress, etc) then I will probably like the Historical Romance/Contemporary Fiction/Romance/Erotica/YA or whatever it is that they're also reading. :)
Helps pad my already hefty TBR.

I wondered that too in the beginning, but I have been the beneficiary of so many good recommendations on books that are not PNR that I would never have known about like Outlander and Fifty Shades just to name a couple.

Pat aka Tygyr (tygyr) | 69 comments Nora Robert's Morrigans Cross trilogy is wonderful I loved them.

I thought they were great as well. I got them from my library, but wished I had bought the paperbacks. I would definitely like to reread the trilogy.

Its because this post isn't just for pnr/uf books we're reading right now, but all books we're reading at the moment. If it weren't for this group, I'd never know about Fifty Shades or Outlander.

On the Outlander front, I'm trying to work through The Outlandish Companion by Diana Gabaldon , but its very tedious. I'm also reading Magic Strikes (Kate Daniels, #3) by Ilona Andrews .

P. Kirby | 5 comments Unholy Ghosts by Stacia Kane. At least, that's my latest UF read. (Currently, reading Fables, Vol 16: Super Team.) I bought Unholy Ghosts a few months ago when it was on sale, but never got to it because I didn't have a Kindle, just Kindle for PC, and reading on the computer wasn't working for me.

Got a Kindle for my birthday, so Unholy Ghosts will be my first read on the new toy.

Pansy | 740 comments I am on the last book of the Shades series Fifty Shades Freed (Fifty Shades, #3) by E.L. James and I have to say, Christian Grey can be creepy. I know everyone loves him but he is a little crazy. I know he has been through a lot but "damn". Outside of the sex and money, he is unbearable. I love the series.

Belkis (bminaya) | 861 comments Hello everyone :) I'm new to the group. I just finished reading Fifty Shades Freedthis afternoon and it was awesome just like the previous 2 books in this trilogy. Hot and great character development by E.L. James. And before this I read and LOVED LOVED LOVED [book:Daughter of Smoke and Bone|8490112! Laini Taylor is a goddess of the written words. This book is simply one of the BEST if not THE BEST paranormal/YA book out right now.

Hi Renee - This series kind of grows on you on you continue working through the books. I've read them all currently waiting for the release of Lover Reborn which is #10 in this BDB series I believe. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that some of them are simply great and the last couple have been awesome. JR Ward has written some really good main characters and can't wait for the next book in this series to come out to see where she's taken the character now.

Hi Yvonne, I'm challenging myself to complete 150 books as well for the year hopefully we'll make it :) Just also wanted to say that the series you're currently reading IMAD by Kresley Cole is AWESOME! Kresley Cole is just fantastic writing these creatures of the Lore as she calls them. And they are LOL hysterically funny. This series is by far my favorite series out of all of the series I've read and am currently reading. They never disappoint and only seem to get better and better believe it or not. They're not like most series out there that start to slip overstaying their welcome. No, no, not this series. Kresley Cole just keeps making them better and better so you are in for quite a joyful and entertaining ride.

I was lucky that I read this series before I joined GR and became addicted to the challenges. So I was able to read books 1-7 back to back. But I'm thinking of sitting out next months challenges so I can focus on Kresley Cole's IAD. I just read the first one last week, and just loved it and think it's another one I would like to read back to back.

They usually are pretty good. I just starting using the library regularly about sixth months ago and I'm in love with it. Plus, I found the link to go on-line and recommend purchases, so I went on and recommended all my favorites that have switched to hard back and I'm now first on the list to get Fair Game (Alpha & Omega, #3) by Patricia Briggs Tangle of Need (Psy-Changeling, #11) by Nalini Singh Lover Reborn (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #10) by J.R. Ward when they come out. So exciting! I think I've just lucked out to live in the county I do. It's got great schools and a great public library system.
