What are you reading right now?

I really liked the first few books in the House of Night series, and I don't usually like YA but they were pretty good.

I love Vampire Academy! Best YA series I've read♥. H..."
Sheree & Mandy - Loved the VA book and I have read

I just finished that one too and the story is getting really good!

I lost interest with the first book.

You are experiencing the after Fifty glow. I get it when I finish a BDB or Huntress book. I have to read something totally different. Sometimes I cannot even read a book for a day or two. Ask Crazy4More. That's who I got the term for.

Remember when I struggled with it. I stopped at page 75. I have not picked it back up. It was so boring. To go from books I could not put down(her first two) to a book I could not put down fast enough. So disappointing.

I am waiting to see what you think of the Psy-Chng series before I start it. I have the first four or five books...I keep meaning to start but something always pulls me away. I guess it is my short attention span or the zillion books I want to read.

I really liked this book.

I agree. I thought this one was better than the first. For me, the humor in the first was almost too much and at times actually pulled me out of the story. I think she balances it better with the rest of the story in this one. And I like the progress Charlie made with her family at the end of this one.

I agree. I though..."
I also felt like the author finally established a balance that made the story more enjoyable as well as cohesive. I just found myself laughing less in this one. Though it was super hilarious when Charley had to advice Taft against dating "ho's" for the sake of his sister lol Strawberry Shortcake cracks me up :)

Katya, give the psy-changlings a try. I'ts a really unique world, great characters plus the bonus of an story arc that continues right through the series as well as a HEA in each book.

I have to agree completely. For some reason when the first of the series came out I put it off for the longest time. I have now read the entire series many times. I absolutely adore Nalini Singh's writing, plot, and especially her relationships between the couples. My most favorite series of any genre :)

I tried another couple pages and then just gave up. I felt bad bc I loved the Elder series but it was lacking in every department, characters, plot, dialogs and conflicts.

I remembered you were struggling and while I was waiting for my library copy, I tried to encourage you on...sigh...so disappointed. I tried soooo hard by reading other positive reviews but the theme didn't change, the characters were lacking and I was dying. I had to stopped in order to hold on to whatever love I have left for Elder Races.

We figured after a really really great read, the afterglow just can't help but overshadow other reads...so we just have to switch genre...no competition.

Now I'm finishing up the Rock Chick series by Kristen Ashley. I'm currently reading

I can't wait until the end of this month either. Late Jan, early Feb, and March all have some very yummy new releases coming out. *Squee*

i did like how Briggs handled the love triangle. it's always nice when no one gets hurt by who gets picked to be in the couple. this series is really good. i like all the characters, the action and the romance. there is a great balance of all the aspects.

ahh Aimie. is there really no hope for Warren and Kyle. they are still together in the book i just finished. i so love their relationship. i'd be so hurt if they don't make it =( hehe.

I love Vampire Academy! Best YA serie..."
lol you will be shocked & all other feelings will run wild, stick with it, it gets better ;)

I'm going to have to second that! Psy-changeling series is a top fave. I put it off for ages but as long as you read them, it's all good :)

I love that series of shorts.

its a fun series and one of my favorites

I read/finished

Sheree - you aren't alone. I think the majority of the readers thought she ended the series very umm crapily.

you're not wrong Eowynmn, it used to be one of my favourite series but no longer & I wont be recommending them like I used to, it just pisses me off that I wasted 7days of reading that when I could have been reading something far better, I guess Dark Lover will have no chance of being crap in my eye's after reading that last book

I'm sitting here laughing. IMO, they get better. You will be completely sucked in.
I read the first 11 in a row, something I have a hard time doing with other series.

I LOVEDDDDDD
