Hmm. Jim Butcher, Kevin Hearne, Dianne Sylvan, Eileen Wilks, Rob Thurman, Vicki Petterson, Diana Rowland, Kelley Armstrong, Deborah Cooke, Shannon K. Butcher??

Any of those new to you? All but the last two are really UF instead of PNR but their some of my favorites.

EowynRN | 121 comments Pat - That fict fact thing looks great. I just signed up, and will try setting it up tonight. I'm sure it will go a long way to straightening me out.

I loved Showalter's series, and The Lords of Deliverance. Sadly, I can't remember how far I got on Chicagoland, so I will check that one out again. I've read night huntress up til about halfway through I think book 5 or 6 and lost interest. I will look into the Estep and Jones series. Elemental Assassin sounds like potential to me, but I've been on a magic/fae kick lately that started with Karen Marie Moning.

Christine - most of those (save Kelly Armstrong) are all new names. Now between the two of you, I'm going to stay occupied tonight! Thank you so much! :)

completely amazing books. i must read if you like erotica in your books. However there isn't anything paranormal in this series but its intriguing nonetheless.

anxiously awaiting the third and final book of this trilogy to come out later this month

I use fictfact, too. I think it is really great. I love that it lets you know when a new book is coming out and sometimes post when an Author signs a new book but not always I have discovered as one of my series the Author has her next book on here but it doesn't show on there yet. But I still love it and use it when I go to the book store to see what books I need next in my different series. It has been very helpful. Hope you like it.

On new series I would suggest Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling, #1) by Nalini Singh like others.
and I have just read the first 2 of Claimed (Brides of the Kindred, #1) by Evangeline Anderson It has 4 books but it was totally a can not put down for me series! I am hoping to get to the 3rd soon. It had lot of humor in the series so far for me, so I really enjoyed that along with the romance. Hope you find something good.

Can't decide what to read next, the Nyquil taken for my cold is not helping. I'm hoping Spider’s Revenge (Elemental Assassin, #5) by Jennifer Estep or Heart of Darkness (Bound by Magick, #1) by Lauren Dane ...which ever will hold my interest before I'm out cold.

I really thought it was good and have ordered A taste of Crimson the next book. Have you read any of her Eve (Marked) books, the earlier series under the name S J Day? I read one of the novellas and thought this series looked good also?

No I have not read any of her other books, the only book I have read of hers is the first of the Renegade Angels Series, but I download Dark kiss of rapture as it was a freebie from Amazon. I will have to add the Eve books to my TBR pile:)

PNR lover | 430 comments Born of Ashes (The World of Ascension #4) by Caris Roane Also this month when it arrives, I had this on order for months on Amazon then they sent a e-mail saying they no longer could supply, had to order from The Book Depository in the end.

Not sure what's going on with Amazon.co.uk they are just not cutting the mustard lately.

See the thing is I have a Kindle when I first got it I was like "it is not the same as reading a book", but now I find the I love the kindle so easy for reading and the thing is I'm running out room for all the books I have, and I won't get rid of them cause I love re reading them.

But the problem is not all books are on kindle yet like Caris Roane and Shannon K Butcher etc, it has something to do with having to get licences or something of that nature. I hope the publishers or whoever it is can sort this soon.:) fingers crossed

message 19074: by Lisa - (Aussie Girl) (new)

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) | 407 comments Yes , Ive got a kindle too and also come across the same publishing zoning that books available in the US are not available in Australia. Drives me crazy!

I still buy paperbacks to complete ongoing series but totally agree about the space saving. I've got the kindle cover so it feels like reading a book.

I've got Caris Roane and SK Butcher first books of their series in my TBR mountain... must get to them this year...

Bemidji (ehleighen) | 39 comments My husband and I started Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning and liked it. Read Bloodfever (Fever, #2) by Karen Marie Moning Bloodfever (Fever, #2) by Karen Marie Moning last week, now we just started Faefever (Fever, #3) by Karen Marie Moning . They are fun books. Although the character does think too much and I feel a bit bored at times, but overall we really like these books. I'm hoping there will be some "action" at some point! lol. I've never had a series that made me wait this long! The funny thing I wanted to mention, and maybe it's TMI, but here goes. So as anyone who reads the Fever books knows, Mac notices whether attractive men are a "leftie" or a "rightie", if you know what I mean. which always cracked my husband up when Mac talks about this. well my husband has always worn those tight bikini underwear, which just kinda bunches it all up nice and tight and so there really is no leftie or rightie going on. well a few days ago I noticed, now he's wearing boxers all the time! ha ha, silly boy. I guess he thinks if it gets Mac excited, it might get me excited. lol. just thought it was cute and had to share. might help if he didn't wear baggy jeans, I've only been able to tell a couple times when he was sitting. but I didn't tell him I noticed. maybe I should stroke his ego, I don't know. not sure if I should tell him or not.

Hey if your having trouble finding books for kindle, try other ebooks sites that sell other types of ebooks like ePub etc. you can get a free converter called calibre available for Mac and pc,(just google it) that will covert any ebook type/file to any other. I have used it for a couple of years it means your not limited to amazon for buying kindle books. Plus you can then save your ebooks that are on your kindle into your calibre library on your computer. Its a really good program.mHope that helps you :)
