Great series Judi. I have read books 1-4. Haven't had a chance to see the series yet. Hoping it is released for Christmas.

P.A. that is too bad. It sounds like you need hot cowboy sex to make you feel better.

But on a serious note I still see the same vamp chick on my computer when I enter these threads. Weird.

Finally finished Harmony's Way (Breeds, #8) by Lora Leigh , and if Lance had threatened to spank Harmony just one more time, I was going to smack the both of them upside the head with a 2x4.
Now I'm reading Tanner's Scheme (Breeds, #9) by Lora Leigh . I’m enjoying this one a lot more…and with less violent tendencies. ;)

I love the Allie Beckstrom series and the series is definitely worth reading. I like the characters from the Underworld Detection Agency series, except the heroine, Sophie. She can be so annoying.

I never bothered to finish Harmony's way. I also find it's good to take a break with the series(with any series actually) but with this series I find if you don't read something else in between some of them you'll get bored. But if you take a break and then read the next you remember how much you like it.

Yvonne Peña (yvonne1611) | 48 comments So just finished the Demonica Series and realized there is no more after book 5 :-( i loved every single book!!!! But now what?

message 17067: by Sylvie (new)

Sylvie There's a novella called Vampire Fight Club in the book Supernatural by Larissa Ione that takes place in the world of Demonica. Also Ione has begun a spin off series about the Four Horsemen. The first is Eternal Rider (Lords of Deliverance, #1) by Larissa Ione and is already out and features appearances from the Demonica guys, and the second is Immortal Rider (Lords of Deliverance, #2) by Larissa Ione due out in about two weeks. Hope this helps!

Yvonne Peña (yvonne1611) | 48 comments Di you read the first of the horseman how is it ?? thank you

message 17069: by Sylvie (new)

Sylvie I liked it a lot. You're already familiar with Ione's writing style and with the world she's created. The horsemen are great characters, and the challenges they face can literally change the world.
If you liked the Demonica books, you can't go wrong with these.

That's funny you said that. I was just telling a friend I was going to take a break after Harmony's Way and read a Breed book only here and there. Then I "peeked" at Tanner's Scheme and the prologue sucked me right in (thankfully). :)

I liked Girl of Fire and Thorns. It had a mature voice to it and I appreciated that. It reminds me of the The Demon King (Seven Realms, #1) by Cinda Williams Chima series a bit, but I like Cinda's series more. Nothing bugs me like a YA novel that has a great story line, but too much teen angst and mushy idiotic love crap.

I will be reading Heart of Steel (Iron Seas, #2) by Meljean Brook soon! It's waiting on my kindle. Glad to see you enjoyed it. I LOVED the first one.

Ellen - I love that series as well! I have that waiting on my kindle. I haven't quite had time for it yet what with other new releases and all. How do you like it so far or have you finished it?

I just finished Angels of the Night Discovery (Angels of the Night #1) by Paula Kennedy . It was okay. I liked it, but I felt it was really rushed. Especially towards the end. Next book I'm reading is Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire .

I am eagerly waiting Cassie's story. I have to admit, sometimes I start to skim the sex scenes because there are a lot. However, you are right about the story arc==I love it and it is original. I just find I can't read 10 in a row I will read a few and then something else. I think it's the same with all authors. Eventually you get tired of the writing style and want a change.

I wonder why it is taking so long to write Cassie's story. She hints to different things with Cassie but kind of leaves us hanging. It is getting a little annoying but I keep going back. I am truly addicted.

It's an addicting series. I have a strong feeling she's holding off on Cassie because she's going to be the last story in the series. I have no basis for that assumption that's just what I think is going to happen.

Very well expressed, PA. I totally agree. You're right about the Breeds series, I read a while ago on LL's site, that Cassie's HEA would not be for a while because "she had to grow up" first. Being a bit cynical I think LL knows a lot of people are reading because of Cassie's story so she'll pan it out for a while with other pairings. I really think Cassie's HEA would be a great ending to the series.

Not really, it's more Urban Fantasy and the relationship is slower to develop. If you want a series with good sex, have you read Samson's Lovely Mortal (Scanguards Vampires, #1) by Tina Folsom Amaury's Hellion (Scanguards Vampires, #2) by Tina Folsom Gabriel's Mate (Scanguards Vampires, #3) by Tina Folsom Yvette's Haven (Scanguards Vampires, #4) by Tina Folsom It's a good series and the sex scenes are very steamy.
