What are you reading right now?

I won it on the giveaways!! (giddy) I would put up up there with the BDB series, could not say one bad word against it. Just got to wait for the next in series now... with no release date :-(

LOL. I hope you enjoy it. I love getting recommendations off these threads--I've found some of my favorite books on here and I think I'm moving up Power of the Moon to the next book I read. Thanks

You will love Bound By Blood. Excellent read. Great characters and storyline. I can't wait for P.A. to release her next book.

You still have several books to go. I saw the new In Death book in Barnes and Noble this weekend. It sounds really good. I am so amazed that after so many books she can still come up with new topics. Amazing!

So far it has made me laugh out loud and cry. It's on track for 5 stars from me."
Gena Showalter, Kresley Cole & Shelley Laurenstone have the best sense of humour ever.

Wow ... I'm very humbled. Thank you! May 2012 is the Covet the Moon release date - tentatively. Could be sooner. :)

WOW.... when I went to your website and saw that the following book has no release date I was gutted. Will be marking that down asap to read :-) You've just brightened my day lol

Now I'm starting "Rosemary and Rue" by Seanan McGuire and so far I'm enjoying it. Gotta love recommendations!

I think it was your posts that initially piqued my interest in this series. I even purchased all 5 =) Now my aunt is getting twitchy for the last 3 but I guess she'll have to wait for Christmas when I see her next. I haven't gotten much past page 14 yet so I can't say what I think yet.

I've got lots of tricks...."
lol that is too funny. A really good idea though and one I will have to keep in mind for classes with impossible reading!

Wow the rating on this book is insanely high. 4.67 stars. It will be interesting to see if it stays high after there are more ratings.

I checked it out on Amazon too and it's almost all 5 stars there too. This one is up next on my list. I read the excert on Amazon and it certainly got my attention.

Andrea - excellent series. The books just get better and better.

Wow that is super rare. I wonder how many books the series is going to be. I hate having to wait to read the next book so I try to read finished series before I start on ones that are still in production >.< I may have to give up my neurosis for this book though, lol.

Awesome! Thanks Michelle. I couldn't put it down yesterday. I know I will finish it tonight :)

Wow that is supe..."
I know what you mean, I like when I discover a new book I love and there are 5 already out in the series so I can gorge myself. Although it's kind of fun to say that I read it first too. I just read whatever appeals to me at the time. LOL

Well my memory is pretty terrible and I'm a slow reader too. So to start a series that wont finish till 10 years later - I don't like to forget all the important stuff. And there are so many great books out there I am afraid to spend too much time re-reading things. =) So even though I'm neurotic, I sometimes have a reason that makes sense for it =)

The age old question P.A.
I hate having to wait for new releases as well. This is why I re-read so much. I need the fix from my favorte authors until they can give me something new to savor.
Speaking of - when is book 2 coming out for you?????

I'm still looking to join a group on GR called Readaholics anonymus. LOL

I actually started a book of my own as well but I never get very far because I prefer reading to writing. I go in phases where I will write a chapter or two and then not touch the damn thing for 6 months. Needless to say it has been a work in progress for 3 years now. It doesn't help having a full time job and 3 kids. Maybe someday I will finish it so I can feel a sense of accomplishment.
I know nothing about publishing or what I would need to do but I figured I wouldn't think about those things until I can get a least half way done with it which at this rate may not happen in this decade.
Oh well, I will continue on with what gives me the most joy - reading!

I know how hard it is. I love writing, but it takes more concentration and quiet than reading, and quiet isn't always that easy to come by in my house.
I'm sure you'll finish one day--and when you do if you ever want any help I've learned a lot about publishing these past few years and I'd love to help you.

Thanks P.A. - I appreciate the offer of help.
In the meantime I will live vicariously through the authors that have their act together. :)

How many books will there be in your series?

Well not everyone will like everything you write. That's just life. But if you write a book that gives you a sense of satisfaction. One that you feel you fulfilled the purpose of the book, then that is all that matters. If you feel you have written the best book you possibly could, it doesn't matter what others think. Unless of course you are writing for money, then it does matter what others think =) But I think of literature as more of an art form than a business. Not that there isn't work involved in writing a book ;) So far people really seem to be enjoying your book (I haven't read it yet) so congrats. =)

Great points Vanessa. And on behalf of someone who has read P.A.'s book I highly recommend it. Very good read. I still can't believe that was a first novel.
P.A. - looking foward to reading whatever you want to throw at us.

P.A, I think we should start that group! Then anyone who is, regardless of genre can join and we can all exchange tips on how to sneak in extra reading time :)
Also, have you found groups on here who help people get started writing? I've started like 2 pages and my general concept, but would love some tips!

Hi, Im Beth and Im addicted to reading. In search for a program that will help me read faster and take care of my other responabilities so I may read more!
