Megan | 198 comments I'm going to start a new PNR series and I remember hearing a lot about a character, Archeron(?). Does anyone know what series this is? Any help would be appreciated! :)

Hi Natalie, stick with it. it really is a great series. It's not about a kick-ass female as much as a woman who is looking for redemption despite the choices she has made. Georgina show a lot of strength throughout the series.

I finishes Blood Hunt (Sentinel Wars, #5) by Shannon K. Butcher , loved it. I can't wait for Iain's story. Now I am finishing up As Shadows Fade (Gardella Vampire Chronicles, #5) by Colleen Gleason .

Acheron is from the Dark Hunters series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. His book is the 16th book in the series. The first book is Fantasy Lover and if I remember correctly Acheron's first appearance is in the second book Night Pleasures or maybe the third Night Embrace.

I just finished As Shadows Fade (Gardella Vampire Chronicles, #5) by Colleen Gleason , and it was such a surprisingly good series, especially the last couple of books. Though there seemed to be a few unanswered questions that I'm hoping may lead to a new series? Idk!

And I started and finished Pack Challenge (Magnus Pack, #1) by Shelly Laurenston . Freaking hilarious and really, really sexy! I laughed out loud ...a lot!

I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the first in the series, Hounded. I found it funny and clever. One review I read said each book gets darker, and I could kind of see that with the second book, and am interested to see how that plays out in the next book.

The reason I bought the book was because I kept hearing such good things about here on GR. Not far into it yet but I already like it. It reminds me a bit of Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1) by Nalini Singh which I absolutely loved.

Mercy Thompson is one of my absolute favorite series and I think Mercy just maybe my favorite character. She's just so "normal" compared to a lot of the butt-kicking women in other series.

I know, but you actually get to see her practicing those fighting skills instead of her just magically knowing how to beat the bad guy. And while she take on any fight she has to she also knows when discretion is the better part of valor. And I love her sense of humor. “Some people are like Slinkies. They aren't really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.” In other words, I just love Mercy.
