I think that is why I loved this one the best...the characters and how they related or fought was what I enjoyed the most about it. And the ending...wow you are wrung out by the time you finish this book. Logan's book is good too but I really want to read Joseph & Iain's books...if there will be any.

SKB has written the next book but I don't know what it is about,.....anyone here know? Dying Wish (Sentinal Wars, #6) by Shannon K. Butcher I bet it is either Iain or Nicholas? oh maybe Joseph.......who knows?

I started reading Heart Mate. I'm about 25% of the way through and the two main characters are only now beginning to talk, which is a bit different for a romance but it has potential.

Yeay---love Iaian...do you know La La if Iain is the other one like Maddoc who had a ring? or used magic to stay alive?

message 14961: by La La (new)

La La | 245 comments Iain has a ring. He is the leader of the Soulless Sentinals who are trying to hide their lack of souls from the others. They never mentioned whether or not his chest was tattooed.

I'm taking a break from fever and starting The Society of Sinners by Charity Parkerson next. I've read some good reviews and the concept of the vampires in this story sounds awesome and unique. I love that.

message 14965: by Nekussa (new)

Nekussa | 4 comments Ok, so I have been trying to read Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews for about a month now, and I am only about a third of the way through it. I usually get through a book in about 2 days. I have heard so many good things about this series that I really want to read it. I am a huge urban fantasy fan, but I just can't seem to get into this book. I think I need some encouragement. It has to get better right?

message 14966: by Magda (new)

Magda | 558 comments Nekussa, stick with it!!! It took me three times to get through Magic Bites but after I made it about halfway through(after Curran was introduced), everything started to flow. The following books are GREAT!!! You can do it!

I've had books that I feel the same way about. I usually just put them down and go back a few months later. Maybe you're just busy or your mind's on other things. If you don't like it after that then I think it's safe to say you're not going to. The way I look at it is we all like what we like. Look at how many people love Twilight and rate it 5 stars and someone else reads it and gives it 1 star. Some of the most recommended books I've hated.

Speaking of savoring, I have to time to read. Look what my library dragged in for me:
Blood Hunt (Sentinel Wars, #5) by Shannon K. Butcher Succubus Revealed (Georgina Kincaid #6) by Richelle Mead One Grave at a Time (Night Huntress, #6) by Jeaniene Frost Envy (The Fallen Angels, #3) by J.R. Ward Last Dragon Standing (Dragon Kin, #4) by G.A. Aiken The Dragon Who Loved Me (Dragon Kin, #5) by G.A. Aiken Dark Taste of Rapture (Alien Huntress, #6) by Gena Showalter

I'm going to be a walking zombie for awhile, lol. I gotta get rid of Succubus Revealed first. I can't even sit still to skim thru the first 5...just give it up and read the last book already, sigh..

Up next, I'll probably finish The Immortals series Everlasting (The Immortals, #6) by Alyson Noel .

I sure missed the Seminus brothers and it is nice to read something more with the Guardians of Eternity... can't wait fot more.
Not sure what I will read next it is either going to be One Grave at a Time (Night Huntress, #6) by Jeaniene Frost or Tempted (Eternal Guardians, #3) by Elisabeth Naughton ( that I just got in the mail).

Keep guessing...I read the series (my favorite of all time mind you) and I am still guessing what everyone "is."

I love Barrons-he is my number one bad guy. But sometimes I just wanted to punch him in his nose.

But honestly, I am not sure I could handle him at all if he were mine. I'm not up to it. He is so way over the top sexy intense. The author describes him as a borderline sociopath....that tells you alot right there....Wait until you get to Shadowfever...if you like him now....you are about to go into overdrive like.

Pam | 7 comments I just finished Archangel's Blade and it was amazing!! Nalini Singh is one of the best PNR writes I have every read. I highly recommend both of her series, Psy/Changeling, and Guild Hunter. She has created worlds in these books that are believable and highly entertaining. She advances both the story in each book well, and still advances the main story arc in each and every book.
I have read series books waiting for the main story arc to be advanced/completed only to be very disappointed. Christine Feehan's last book did that to me, have Dark Predator on my computer to read, but have not been able to do it.. we have soil to heal, a Carpathian in enemy territory (Demetri) and we are stuck in the rain forest... Come on!!! Same thing with Sherrilyn Kenyon, Retribution was a great disappointment for me...we need to get back to NO and get back to Stryker and Ash and deal with the baddies!!!

Agree, P.A. have patience, at least you don't have to wait for months and months like us for SHADOWFEVER. It was so good and will clear out lots of questions...but that's part of what made this series so intriguing, right? easy for me to say that now.

I loved Succubus Revealed. I was satisfied with the conclusion to Georgie's story. I want a series on Carter, I love him.

Madoc is my favorite followed by Logan in the Sentinel Series. I've liked both upon introduction. I'm a quarter ways through Blood Hunt and enjoying every minute. I can't wait for Iain story which is next. He's my #3. What is with it with our love for the Soulless ones. lololol. Maybe because they are the ultimate bad boys. hmmm
