I'm so close finishing Zach & Lexi's book. It's very good. So glad to have 2 more books on my hands to read next. Glad to hear your liked the latest book! don't you feel the war and the future so bleak?
BTW, I didn't know Shannon Butcher is wife of Jim Butcher. I heard great things about him too but haven't had a chance to read his books...yet.

The world they live in is very bleak...but I guess that is part of the appeal. I loved
the best....but Logan's book was very good too! You get to see the other side of what he and his brother have been up to and why they are so desperate. This is a good series. I have not read anything of Jim Butcher either but am intrigued...again I too hear good things about him.

Hated it, felt a little loss regarding Sybil's story. All I remembered was how gruesome, creepy and scary that whole storyline was. There's definitely a sense of darkness that scared the heck out of me. I'm such a chicken...do you sense it? that's why I can't read ghost story, I'd be sleeping with the lights on.

I feel this series has darkness to it yes, but the I think it has the right balance. I will not read anything like Stephen King, I'm a chicken too.

It is written so well. Yes there were some slow parts but the author made sure to pick it up at just the right time. I guarantee you will want to read the second!

I just started the fever series and I love when the whole series is done and I can just read them all in a week.

When I picked it up I did not realize that it was book one of three and was not prepared for the ending! Can't wait for the next one.

Thanks Laura, I;m glad you liked it. I am enjoying the Fever series, I wish there was a bit more romance, but even without it I am really enjoying the story. I am actually almost done
I bought the rest of the series and managed to fit them into my monthly challenge, so I should be done them soon. Thanks for the suggestion. This is why I LOVE goodreads--I never would have tried these books if not for the recommendation.

I have just finished the "My Blood Approves" series by Amanda Hocking - I absolutely loved it. I have a choice of Hollowland by Amanda Hocking ot The Hunger Games - any thoughts?

- it's amazing! I don't really agree it's better than the first VA - that one was just breath-taking. But I totally can't wait to read more and more of Sydney and Adrian's adventures - I just love him so much!
