I just added Enemy Lover (L.O.S.T #1) by Karin Harlow to my TBR. You have totally convinced me. You hooked me to Roarke. I trust you completely.

Pansy | 740 comments I rented Singing In The Rain and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers for my daughter to watch with me. She dances and she has no idea the suave dance style of Gene Kelley or the classical musical of Brothers. Should be interesting. It may help with my disappointment of not getting my audiobook of the Death series. I'm sorry Roarke.

H.D. (hdgordon) | 11 comments I am currently reading The Host by Stephanie Meyer and my sister promises me that it is excellent. Still too early for me to tell bc i just started it, but already i can tell her writing has improved greatly (Not that i didn't enjoy the Twilight series). Anyway, I have some other suggestions, if you haven't read these already: Vampire Academy Series by Rachelle Mead...absolute must read, Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs also good, ALL of Kelley Armstrong's books especially her Otherworld series and this one is a little off genre but if you've never read Stephen King's The Shining, read it! Amazing Book! Happy Reading!

Pansy, you'll love this one! come on, a war hero with mind and soul to the core and combine it with vampire strength & hotness. Then you have a bad-ass cop, also surviving her back-stabbing SOB's. Nuff said...

I liked Shadowflame there was some things that happened that not everyone has liked but it didn't bother me to much.I still liked the first book better.Discovery of Witches started out slow then improved. I'm glad I listened to it rather than read it, overall it was good just slower than most things I read.

message 14421: by La La (new)

La La | 245 comments @ Natalia - I find really good books by going onto people's bookshelves. If you find someone who menions really interesting books just click on their name and if they are not private you should be able to see the books that they've read or want to read.

An easier way is by either going on someone else's thread or posting your own regarding book suggestions. When putting in your request just be clear on what type of books your looking for and listing some of the book you've already read.

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I just finished Born To Die (To Die, #3) by Lisa Jackson and I have to say that I loved the other two books in the series, but I found this one to be a major disappointment. A little too unrealistic and not as nearly faced paced as the others. Not to mention there wasn't much of Alvarez and Pescoli in this one and they were the main characters before...

Now I'm reading Vampire Dragon (Works Like Magick, #3) by Annette Blair that I received from the publisher to review...

Trying to get into Passion by Lisa Valdez , yowza, it's raunchy for historical romance. I don't read much HR, but do they get this liberal?

Lisa, this is the perfect-hot-fast-fun-great-distracting read! I'm so glad to have it recommended bc I just finished and was enjoying the afterglow of my Roarke and action-packed hotness via Enemy Lover...I just had to switch genre, just didn't realize I'd get so distracted from HR, wink wink. That's being said, it does have a decent storyline.

My one-and-only Roarke is from the IN DEATH series. I'm so hooked on its audiobook that I'm willing to wait it out until I have both book & audio in my hands. The chemistry & emotion narrated by S.Ericksen are just amazing and must not be missed.
