What are you reading right now?

Next and finally,

Anyone that could jump ahead of Barrons certainly catches my interest ;) ... what series is that?

This one is pretty intense!

fantasic! This series is great. I don't know if I can say better then the BDBs but damn close!! I've been itching for something that comes close to the BDBs for a while... really happy I have this series! :) Now if only I can find something that comes close to the night huntress series... Cat and Bones are a hard couple to beat.

Loved Tricks in Dragon Bound! That lunch date she had with Pia was hilarious. I can't wait to read the next edition...You are so fortunate to have an advanced copy!
I pre-ordered

I am such a fan of the Midnight Breed series. I am glad you are enjoying them. It does get better. Most series are like that. Kane's book is really good. I think Rio is my favorite though, at least until Chase's book comes out.

Pansy, if I know your taste, you'l..."
Yes, you know my taste. You have recommended several and I have loved every one of them. I trust you guys. I start

yes, I've read both of the series. Loved both of them too! :)

A lot of goodreads members have been suggesting this series. Is it really that good, coz I think I wanna read it at the same time Im a bit overwhelmed of my to-read list...

I love that series!! She just announced that Denal and Jack will be getting their own books. So excited can't wait for Alaric and Quinn's book!!!

Oh, I have that on my nook! I hadn't heard much about it, but I may have to try it out now. (After I finish the three other series I'm reading! lol)

I also love the midnight breed series. I haven't heard of the elder races - thanks for the recommendation.
I just finished the Deadtown series books 1 and 2

I started Cat and Bones this morning beginning with the novella in the Unbound Anthology:

Anyone that could jump ahead of Barrons ce..."
Kate Daniels. Yum! lol. It is similar to the Fever series in that things don't steam up till later, and he is not a huge character in the first 2 books. The first book is a lot of world building but a good detailed read. Book #3 was amazing! From what you ladies are saying, I can't wait to finally get a chance to read Magic Slays(#5) tonight!
Currently working on

It was pretty painful, at least the power point chapter went fast, lol.

I agree Crazy4more, it was action packed and as soon as something got resolved, something else was popping up. I was never board and didn't find myself rushing through the boring parts because there weren't any. I really enjoyed the dialog and the way the characters interacted with one another. It made me laugh at times but still was a tender, romantic story.

Because I know when I start a book by Ellen C. Maze I get dragged into her world and can't leave until I turn that last page.

Imagine my despair after reading it back in March! lol I feel you, Jan can't come soon enough.

I know right!!! I wish she would make this a series. Loved it!!!

he knocked out Barrons? oh no I cant wait to..."
He did. I still love Barrons. But Curran is my guy. Forever and always. lol :)

I love this series. I found it light and humorous with good action and great character development.
Just finished the second book in the Cal Leandros series and started the third:

Also almost finished with the Fall (part 2 of the Strain) by Guillermo del Toro

Also working on this week:

If you don't want to stop reading about Kate Daniels, have you read the short stories that Ilona Andrews has in various anthologies? In Must Love Hellhounds Anth she has a short story about how Andrea and Raphael get together. In the Hexed anthology there is a short story about Dali and Jim. There's also a short in Dark and Stormy Knights about how Kate met Saimen but it's not as good as the other two.

How did you like this one Katie? Pretty emotional but the ending... Don't know how I feel about the ending to this series. :)

Now I'm going to be reading

Now I'm going to be reading

I have to agree. Nathaniel is my least favorite. Anita seems more manly than him.

I was one of those who caught on and loved it due to the unique vampire origin, but you're right, it gets better and better. Glad you're having a great time reading them.
