Magda | 558 comments Cecilia, yes all the books are out now. Fever is a must read series.
Jodie, when you're done, I'm up for talking about the books if you want to. I had a hard time getting into the series, book 1 was just 3 stars for me but the last 2 books were fantastic, especially Shadowfever.
And, Barrons is delicious!

texxie-PRUFreads.blogspot.com (prufreadsblogspotcom) | 198 comments Just finished Backstage Pass (Sinners on Tour #1) by Olivia Cunning and now reading book 2 Rock Hard (Sinners on Tour #2) by Olivia Cunning .

Not paranormal but hey, rockstars are the second best thing to vamps so....

I think I'm in love with this series.

Oh I agree!!! I'm on A Breath of Snow and Ashes (Outlander, #6) by Diana Gabaldon I just can't get enough. I'm so sad that I am almost at the end of the series until the next book comes out. 2012 or 2013 is just torture.

It's such a good series. My sister got me onto them and I over took her reading them.
I have now just set my Mum on Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon And she is also loving it, more then anything she has ever read.

I tweeted DG telling her "Jamie withdrawal sucks" DG tweeted back "I'm working on it (book 8) >g<" :)

Can't wait.

I love historical's, but it was the style of writing I couldn't get into. A Mercy started from a Native American girls POV and I just couldn't stand the bad English she spoke in. I know it was giving you the full character but I couldn't get past it, I found myself reading lines over again to figure out what she was saying. It probably got better but I couldn't keep reading.

Everything Is Illuminated I only read a few pages, here and there of this book. Because a book from a fave series of mine, came out at the same time I had borrowed it from the library and by the time I got round to reading it.It was due back. I should of maybe given it more of a chance but I didn't. Never mind. Lol

Lindsay (lag28wa) | 46 comments @Magda and @Jodie I wasn't really into Barrons at first, even though I had heard all the to do about him. I kind of thought he was an ass in the first book. By book 3 I was really into him and now I'm totally Team Barrons! Mac is aggravating me because she won't trust him a little more!

message 13359: by Magda (new)

Magda | 558 comments Lindsay, wait 'til you hit book 5. Ahhh, the Barrons/Mac friction/conversations are delicious.

I gave it 4 stars, so I'm guessing I thought it was good when I finished, but didn't write a review so I have no idea what I thought of it exactly. Lol.. Fingers crossed it gets better for u. I might have to go back and reread and write reviews this time round. Lol

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) yeah I am going to try to continue on and hope it gets better but usually I would be done with an Anita book by now and with this one I fall asleep within like reading 50 pages of it I'm like ick...and reading through it i'm like ummm wth is going on really, and i'm not liking this at all lol.

That's so funny, Jodie, because the reason I read the Kate Daniels series was because of that contest. I was soooo behind Barrons (still am) but now I understand the hype about Curran, too. I'm getting ready to read Curran (Curran POV, #1) by Gordon Andrews Magic Slays (Kate Daniels, #5) by Ilona Andrews I'm trying to hold out for awhile, because its the last one so far in the series, and I know I'm gonna jones for more! I was surprised how much I liked this series.

Jules (jnsmit8r) | 2 comments At the moment i am reading a couple of diffrent books. Some of which i had to put down because another book in my 'to-read' list caught my eye and was therefore compelled to read it before finishing the other one. I stopped to read Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte instead of reading Before I fall by Lauren Oliver or finishing Grey Eyes by Brandon Alston. And now i decided to read Gifts of the Blood by vicki Keire. If you can't tell im on a bit of a .99 cent book binge.

I am dying for a Qhuinn and Blay book too. Was so disappointed when I read that the next one is Tohr's. I am also really concerned where she is going with Qhuinn and Blay after reading Lover Unleashed, It hinted at alot of things. I don't want to say much on here and spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it yet. But things are not looking good for Blay and Qhuinn getting a happy ever after. Unless I took hints out of context. :(

I love the Mercy Thompson series, but i must admit it is more action and a lot less hot and steamy compared to other PNR's I have read. But I love Adam and Sam. I even really like Stefan too. Lol. I would so love to live a day in Mercy's life.. ;)

LOL... in River Marked (Mercedes Thompson, #6) by Patricia Briggs there is a steamy scene. (I think) I've got a 3 second memory span, just like a goldfish...LOL!
They are worth reading because the stories. The last one gave a huge insight into Mercy's shapeshifter/Coyote side which I really liked. While I'm reading them I don't really miss the lack of steam. I am too hooked on the characters and plot/action. I only notice when I read something that is steamy and think oh if only Patricia Briggs added this into the Mercy books.

I hope they don't drive you too crazy, and you can get to enjoy them more :)
