Nita (gillnit) Finished Of Blood and Honey (The Fey and the Fallen, #1) by Stina Leicht and really adored it. Highly recommend if you are looking for an urban fantasy a little different, dark, and very well written.

Now onto The Vampire Dimitri (Regency Draculia #2) by Colleen Gleason .

ஐAndreaஐ (rosesrrblue) | 707 comments @Kiersten - Its' a good book and I agree with Sammie, I'm having a love/hate relationship with it as well. There were some great parts and I was crushed at the end. But Chloe said to trust her. . . sigh. November is far away :(

message 12658: by Magda (new)

Denise Nanna | 1321 comments I am reading All Together Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #7) by Charlaine Harris

And for those of you wondering whether to read Hard Bitten (Chicagoland Vampires, #4) by Chloe Neill , I say read it. It is the best book yet in that series, in my opinion. It does give you a lot to think about afterwards.

message 12660: by La La (new)

La La | 245 comments Just finished Tainted (The Blood Lily Chronicles, #1) by Julie Kenner , which was pretty good, despite the fact that I don't like first person POV. Now I'm reading Torn (The Blood Lily Chronicles, #2) by Julie Kenner .

message 12662: by Jenny (new)

Jenny (jenny1973) I am reading Shadowland (The Immortals, #3) by Alyson Noel . Got sucked into this series. A little "young" for me. I like them more "adult" ;-)

message 12663: by Magda (new)

Magda | 558 comments I hate that the heroine had to be raped to achieve some of her power, which lead to Mac/Barrons hooking up.
I would've preferred it be of her own free will.

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments 7 miles straight on the treadmill as I was going thru the raw-honest-endearing dialogs from Trevor, Chassie and Edgard in Rough, Raw and Ready (Rough Riders, #5) by Lorelei James ...ok, the dialogs that came after the hot hot hot scenes, lots of hot scenes.

Also finished these awesome reads The Darkest Secret (Lords of the Underworld, #7) by Gena Showalter and Big Jack (In Death, #17.5) by J.D. Robb .

What's next for me? Eternal Rider (Lords of Deliverance, #1) by Larissa Ione and Tangled Threads (Elemental Assassin, #4) by Jennifer Estep . LUCKY ME!

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments Shadowfever alone makes the Fever Series worth reading....I also hated Mac getting raped...and of course I stayed up to finish Faefever...where she got raped and then had trouble sleeping...

message 12667: by Magda (new)

I so loved the idea of this series, then, around book 4 or 5, I can't remember now, I gave up. There are'nt many series out there that I would walk away after getting so far. This, unfortunately was one of them. Felt like the author lost her way. I hope you are able to enjoy it better than I did. There was so much potential.

message 12672: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) I've read Hard Bitten (Chicagoland Vampires, #4) by Chloe Neill I so have a love/hate relationship with this book. Then One Silent Night (Dark-Hunter, #16) by Sherrilyn Kenyon pretty epic book. and just finished this morning Dead Reckoning (Sookie Stackhouse, #11) by Charlaine Harris it was better than the last one.

NhaughtyV says Damn the Zon Save the Reviews (nhaughtyv) | 81 comments Sammie, I'm really not liking Dead Reckoning (Sookie Stackhouse, #11) by Charlaine Harris ...could not even bring myself to read it during my lunch hour today :(

it wasn't as good as the one prior to Dead in the family, but I thought it was better than the last....Sookie was just to whiny in this one...I'm afraid the series is taking a turn on the down slope and I'm afraid CH isn't going to be able to get it back on the upslope.

message 12675: by Sillylittlefishey (new)

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I liked Dead Reckoning (Sookie Stackhouse, #11) by Charlaine Harris better then Dead in the Family (Sookie Stackhouse, #10) by Charlaine Harris ...but then again that doesn't take much!! But I don't think it's the best of the series by any means...it was just in the middle somewhere for me...

Shawn, if you need to be distracted: the gym, traffic jams, doctor's office apt, waiting in line, passing time, etc...you get the picture, you can count on these cowboys. This particular one really opened my mind about issues I've ignored and I think that what's earned a 5 stars for me.

YOU ARE SO LUCKY you haven't read it. Wish I was in your shoes and reading it for the first time. I have to wait until the senile kick in to enjoy them again. I read these twice and then the audiobook. Hope you'll love it.

One of my favorite series. Dont let anyone talk you out of it. If we can live thru a similar storyline in the Fever series, we can get thru this one. I trust the author to make it right.

message 12694: by Sillylittlefishey (new)

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I finished Glory in Death (In Death, #2) by J.D. Robb today. I didn't think it was as good as the first one. This is the one where Roarke was pushing for a comitment and they were on the outs for a big chunk of the book and I just don't think there was enough Roarke in this one...not to mention she kept thinking different people were the murderer and I just didn't think they were...

I just started Bitten (Women of the Otherworld, #1) by Kelley Armstrong
