I'm reading Shadowlight. Its the first book in the Kyndred series by Lynn Viehl. So far so good. I really enjoyed her Darkyn series so I'm hoping this one is just as good.

Is the Darkyn series PNR or UF? I have seen Lynn Viehl's name a lot on some of the groups as well as the Darkyn series, but I'v never got around to reading them. I hear good things though:)

I'm reading Red Riding Hood, which so far I think I'm liking better than the movie, although there were some great hot kisses in the movie that I enjoyed. It's an interesting take on the the story, but I'm enjoying it. :D

I agree, I was really getting bored with House of Night - personally I don't like any of the friends in the book, they add nothing to the story - I just skim through and read only the parts regarding Zoey and whoever her current boy toy is, Stevie Ray, and Rephiam. I really liked the story between Stevie Ray and Rephiam, I can't wait to start reading the next book and hope they get together!

oh well I liked this book with the less Zoey in it I was getting really tired of Zoey and her well I don't know what it was but I was getting irritated with her...I really do like Stevie Rae & Rephiam's story I have awakened on order so I can't wait to see what happens with them....i'm also kinda feeling bad for kalona too now...that neferit has really got a hold of him.

I'm with you on this one Shawn. I'm so enthralled I couldn't function until the book is done. This is when I discovered by reading 2 series at a time so I can go about life.

Finished and have moved on to the third in the series ...I am really loving this series alot; it is fast paced, intersting; and has a great heroine. Highly recommend them

while I'm still working on on my own, my husband and I just started reading together. it's been cracking us up from the first page. Once I finish You Slay Me, I can't wait to start (book 4 of young adult vampire romance). the 3rd book (Hourglass) annoyed me a little as I was thinking that was going to be the final book with a happy ending, but it wasn't. I'm hoping book 4 will tie it up happily ever after.
