I felt the same way but my gosh, I'm so glad it didn't stop me. I'm so enthralled with this series, it's scary.

Pam, VOYAGER is my favorite so far. Yes, these are long but once I got into them, everything else is on hold. I'm not reading Echo bc of the cliff-hanger, after what happened in Fever, I'm not up for another deadly cliff-hanger.

Keep reading Mrs. V. The depression will ease...I promise :)

I liked it when I first started I loved Frank making noises for the landlady of the B&B to make her think they were having sex. But I'm kind of bored now with his blabbing on and on about history...I'm hoping that's about over though?

I liked the "girl who" series but the Girl Who Played with Fire was my fav of the series

OMG Heidi, you're just at the tip of the iceberg. Can't wait until you get a bit further into the book. You'll not too far. Book 1, Outlander, is crazy good!

I love Hunger Games, AND heard that the girl from TRUE GRIT movie is talking to be Katniss. She's nominated for the Oscar but didn't win...but how cool is that?

Heidi, don't be intimidated. While all the books in the series are long, they're well worth it. You won't regret reading them. Just be sure you have plenty of time to start the series. Once you get into them, they become addictive and you'll find yourself staying up all hours of the night/early morning just to finish a book! ;)

Now halfway through

I so agree with you on this..I am having a hard time reading it to...can't wait to finish....

Let me know what you think when you finish Night Huntress. I had mixed feelings.

Yes it is! I want to finish up her Highlander series, but I'm afraid to! I've finally gotten Barrons out of my head a little.

Trying to figure out what to read next since there are so many choices.

I'm liking it again now:) I love Jaimie...she just tried to escape and now her and Jamie are getting ready to leave with Dougal

Shadowfever alone made that series so worth it!!

The Highlander series is great; if you love the fae you will love the highlander (the fae are introduced here) The fae series is in my TBR stack. I was torn between that and Outlander ... Outlander won.

I loved Dani too!! "What the Feck?!"...LOL! I've read the first 3 Highlander books so far and just scored 4, 5 and 6 today @ Borders!

I've only read the first in the series, but I found it to be all over the place too.

The first is the best but the other characters when the story isnt scattered are funny just have to push through some of them.

She's supposedly making a spin-off series of fever so you never know...

I can't believe I haven't started on this book yet. I thought I would jump right into it. Just got back from a b-day party, only 2 glasses of wine, hope to read a bit tonight. Yeah...it's the weekend, HAVE A NICE WEEKEND ALL.

I would love a spin off series... there are too many unanswered questions.

I missed Bones and Cat so much. I love the fact that I get bit and pieces from all my favorite characters. Not enough to quench my thirst though. I'm 1/2 done and so far so good.

Highly recommended if you want to know more about the Druids, Fae, the McKeltars, etc. I didn't care for Christian or the Keltars until the Highlander series. Now it's like, huh...the McKeltars, yummy...

Keep going and you'll find out why Jamie and Claire will surpass so many other.
