I didn't think I would like VA as much as I did! I had it on my shelf for 2 months before I read it. Let's just say that I am addicted to VA! Oh and Sookie Stackhouse is an excellent series...I for one like it better than Trueblood.

I love Sookie Stackhouse I am almost finished with the Third one and I find it really hard to watch the show while reading the series its just to different.

I am new to VA, I am in the middle of the first one and at first I thought it was a bit slow but its starting to hold my interest and everyone tells me the next books in the series are better, so I will keep on going..LOL :)

I just started reading Patricia Briggs, Mercy Thompson series….
Im not sure why but I kept putting off buying the first book for about 12months…sort of had that meh ‘shrug shoulders’ attitude about it.
I just want to say I should have read it ages ago. I am really enjoying this series. I started only a few days ago and already im up to number three in the series. To anyone umming and ahhing about starting this series.

I'm reading City of Bones from The Mortal Instruments. I never understood why I set this book aside for so long. It's really entertaining so far, and Jace...tsk tsk. That boy is an attention grabber. :)

I enjoyed the Argeneau series. I think Lynsay Sands is great and I love most of her writing. She is the one that got me into the genre to begin with.

I really enjoy the Argeneau series but keep in mind it's a light, fun read with a lot of humor. If that's up your alley then you will probably enjoy it too.

I just finished and I didn't like it that much at all. It read like an American who has watched too much Buffy (Jack=Spike), I couldn't figure out why the characters were helping each other because they were so mean to each other, and the plot was all over the place. I think if it had been more streamlined and the characters were actually likable, it would have been better because the plot was actually pretty good.

I wonder if it just fell to the first book curse, where there's too much world building. I'll probably read the next in the series to see.
