. I am really enjoying the last one. I don't like too many short stories, but they're all based around this one central idea and they're all well written.

I just started Taken by Lilith Saintcrow and about to start DarkFever by Karen Marie Moning. I am guessing it is a good series since there is a lot of people talking about it?
Fever is a very good series. Book 1 is pretty average, but each book just keeps getting better and better. Numbers 3, 4 and 5 are all sensational.
im reading the anita blake vampire hunter series, blue moon. :) does the story get any better? god i get so frustrated with anita sometimes. well in her love life anyways. i love all the boys! i cant pick which one she should be with and it sucks.lol
The Anita books do get better in my opinion but I have stopped after he 9th book for a break.I'm slightly in love with Jean Claude haha
In my opinion the books do get better. I've read all the books so far and she doesn't actually choose, but u'll know the ones special to her.

I've been to several of her signings over the years. The best was I actually got to hang-out with her at Dragon-con when there was a scheduling error (at a con, I never! LOL). Found out back then (before they started appearing in the books) she was an anime and manga fan. My sister and I loved her even more after that. :)

...I thought it was pretty good...but the confrontation at the end seemed to drag on forever...and there was some bad proofreading in parts that drove me crazy but beyond that it was good.Now I'm taking a step away from the paranormal (I know I must be crazy) and am reading

. I loved the first book of the series but the second book left me empty. I really liked Caressed by Ice. It is not just a romance but a lot of Sci-Fi.

The ending was everything it should be, leaving me happy and content, an absolutely rare feat in any final book!I think I'm going to start KMM's Highlander series as well. It also seems very popular! For those who have read both Fever and Highlander how would you say they compare? Since I've read some comments how the Scots in Fever were crossovers from Highlander apparently?
Yes, the Highlander series is very good! I'd read anything coming from Ms. Moning.

Hi Rosie,
I read the Highlander series first and I fell in love with Moning's writing style and her characters. I will have to say the Fever series made more sense to me because I understood the Fae and Druidry because of the Highlanders. I also understood where the Keltar clan fit in, and a smile when Adam Black came to Ireland.
They are all worth the read. The first two are not my favorite, but that is an injustice as they are still wonderful books. I rented them from my library, loved them so much, that I purchased them all by the end.
They made me appreciate everything in the Fever series more, and you will definitely want to re-read the Fever series with your new found knowledge and appreciation after the Druids.
I myself loved all of the Keltar men (and of course Barrons). Moning really knows how to write a male lead.

Yes. KMM's Highlander series are PNR or you might even say time-travel romance books.

I've read the first 4 bks from Fever then went back to read Highlander while waiting for SHADOWFEVER. All kinds of light bulbs went on and so much more appreciation of Fever the second time around...while waiting for SHADOWFEVER. I too had a kick and a couple sighs when the Keltars and Adam came back into the picture.
aaahhhh I keep hearing about the Highlander Series! I'm still trying to keep up with Vampire Academy and Fever Series AND BDB!upside to all this? I don't have to wait forever for the next book to read :)

Its bad in so many of these books. Doesnt anyone check? Sometimes it is obvious that they use spell check and the wrong words are chosen. Its really annoying.

The Highlander series are good, but are more romance with some PN in them.

Enjoy the HIGHLANDER series. I know you will like bc each book has its own HEA, and so simple, sweet & well written.

this series is really good lost my self in the last one. Hope that i can do the same with this one

I went to one of her actual signings in the fall of 2010 with my best friend. It was so much fun, but you have to get there EARLY if you don't want to be the last in line (or have small children with you). The only thing I didn't like about her signing is if anyone would ask about some of their favorite, little mentioned characters and whether they would be getting a book or not she would only say "If I don't kill him/her" which, I understand why she would say that (she does explain why) but it's still irritating! I mean, come on, give us a little more than that, lol. But back to the point, she was super nice and it was a great time!
