message 10504: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) I finished Born of Night (The League, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon this morning at like 3am, I should've went to bed hours before, but I just couldn't muster up the energy to put this book down. This has got to be one of the best books I've ever read, and I usually love all the books i've read, but this one has topped them all so far. Sherrilyn Kenyon did an awesome job with this book, whoever has said that it's better than the DH books was totally right, I love those so much, but I now love this more.

Now I am reading Misguided Angel (Blue Bloods, #5) by Melissa de la Cruz

It really is a great book series. People sometimes pass the books over because they involve space assassins instead of vamps or shifters, but the story reads exactly like an urban fantasy/PNR hybrid. I often compare it to a BDB type of book. Book 1 of League was so much better than book 1 of her DH series.

message 10508: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) @ Stacia
I agree at first when I found out it was about a space assassin I was like ehhhh, but gave it a shot cause Sheerrliyn is one of my fav authors and her writing held true.

Dark Flame (The Immortals, #4) by Alyson Noel
Must say, not all bad, but Ever does get on my nerves sometimes, always falling in Roman's trap! Ugh.

After this series I'm DYINGG to read the Mortal Instrument series, which I heard is AMAZINGG but strategically going to tackle the series after exams, so I can enjoy it without feeling stressed so can't wait :) !
City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare

Mrs.Vishous-Kattalakis-Belikov :::Para Itch Reviews::: (vanesmate) I just finished Oscar's Soul by Missy Welsh ...short story but very GOOD!! Now I am reading The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1) by Gena Showalter

YES, you need to read them in order. I'm so glad I picked up this series. Even though it's long and I can't chat on my new reads, but it's so worth it. Hope you'll give it a try, you won't regret it.

message 10520: by J.E. (new)

J.E. Taylor (jetaylor) | 4 comments I just finished Seithe by Poppet and it's fantastic. Paranormal romance at it's best. The tension and sensuality of this book along side the very unique supernatural twist makes it one of the best books I've read in a while. Beyone that, Poppet's literary cadence is beautiful.

message 10521: by Pansy (new)

Amy (amescat) | 279 comments I've got 4 disk left of Blue Smoke by Nora Roberts on audio

then on to Drums of Autumn (Outlander, #4) by Diana Gabaldon on audio(cannot wait!!!!)))

I am starting to read Last Dragon Standing (Dragon Kin, #4) by G.A. Aiken

I have been having a problem finding books to read recently. I read a chapter or 2 and just can't/don't continue with it. It may be my current mood. Does anyone else go through times where nothing that you try to read clicks for you?

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) Just finished Eternal Kiss of Darkness (Night Huntress World, #2) by Jeaniene Frost awesome book, Jeaniene Frost is an impeccable writer, everything I have read of her's so far has sucked me in right away to the point I would give up sleep to finish the book, if it wasn't for my bodies overwhelming needs to sleep.

Now I am reading Friday Night Bites (Chicagoland Vampires, #2) by Chloe Neill

message 10534: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (michelle_mc) | 371 comments I changed my plans and read Winter Kiss (Dragonfire, #4) by Deborah Cooke . Now I'm thinking or reading either Awakened (House of Night, #8) by P.C. Cast or Bayou Moon (The Edge, #2) by Ilona Andrews . Although it may change again! I can't decide at the moment. My physical tbr pile is huge and I've been buying up books on the kindle to read too. I have an intense urge to re-read some series aswell. There is not enough time in the day :)

message 10535: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (michelle_mc) | 371 comments That's not so good! I might revisit my bookshelves, I'm not really feeling either of the books I had set out.

message 10536: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) I liked the HON books, they were simple reads, and quite interesting when in compared to the twilight books, they hold a more gruesome aspect on the teenage vampire hood.

♡ Sassy ~ Amy ♡ | 6 comments Please someone help me!! A while ago, someone posted a link to a website that has all the release dates for every book month by month. I have looked everywhere on here and can't find it! Does anyone know?

I started reading all the OLD breeds books, and they have made the newer ones make so much more sense! Pretty erotic... older ones more so, which is kinda funny. I am up an all my Kenyon, Ward, K. I prefer them to the Twilight series. With Twilight I always felt that there was build-up but no actual fight. It really annoyed me. The HON series does delve into the darker side, there are a lot more shades of grey.

Gosh that whole "need to sleep" thing is really annoying isn't it!?! I think we would all be up 24/7 reading our books otherwise!! LOL
I was always against audio books until I finally gave in and tried them... Such a great find! Now at least I can add so many more 'reading' hours onto my day AND still manage to get the cooking and cleaning done!! (family's very happy 'bout that! : D
