Pansy | 740 comments Just finished Dreamfever (Fever, #4) by Karen Marie Moning . What am I suppose to do now? I am in Cliffhanger hell. What can I possible read that will take my mind off this crazy Fever series that has taken over my senses? I have done BDB,IAD,Night Huntress. I could go back to psy-changeling series. I have not finished it.

I read the highlander series first. I loved it. That's what started this whole mess.

Hey Sophie, maybe that's why I enjoyed the Monere bc I haven't read LKH's. It would drive me crazy trying to separate and compare authors. It'll be better as you get deeper into the series and stop the comparison.

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments Oh no...I'm hooked Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon . I'm afraid I have to let IAD series go back to the library. Yes, I'm one of those who cannot read more than one series at a time.

Question, is it me or the audio for the Outlander doesn't follow the book? Even though I love the soundtrack but skipping so much of the book made me unattached to the characters and the chemistry was missing...a lot...

I can't read more than one series at at time either. As for the audio book for Outlander, I've never listened to the audiobook. I own all but the last book of the series, all of them in hardbook (well worth every penny) and love them! I REALLY need to buy
the last book...

Lol, welcome to the Fever series Cliffhanger Hell Club. We are a rapidly growing group ;)
While you're waiting for KMM to release the last book (hurry up Jan 18!!!!) you should try reading Shelly Laurenston's series. All the books are out. She's one of my favorite authors (up there w/KMM and Diana Gabaldon). If you read her series, go in the following order: Magnus Pack series, Pride series, Long Island Coven series (the characters in each series spill over into the series following it, if you read them in order, you won't get lost). They're all series that will make you LOL, are well written, and have romance intertwined well with humor. Her Dragon Kin Series (which she wrote under the name G.A. Aiken) is also really good and will make you LOL.

I said all of the books in Laurenston's series are out, I lied, my bad. She still has yet to complete and release the last book in her Dragon Kin series but not to worry, there's no cliff hangers like there are in KMM's Fever series so you can read it and not go nuts waiting for the last book. The last book of the Pride series isn't out yet either, but like the Dragon Kin series, it doesn't have cliff hangers either and is fine to read. Each series is similar to the Dark series (also known as the Carpathian series) by Christine Feehan in that each book of the series is a story unto itself for the characters in it but those same characters are in and often mentioned throughout other books in the series. Make sense?Anyway, I hope those suggestions in my post above help...

Let me know how this series goes. I love Acheron too. NO MERCY wasn't bad, nowhere near the epic-level like Acheron but it was full of action, fun and endearing.

I really like Kenyon's Born series. It very futurist/sci-fi with steamy love scences. There is also a novella in the book "In Other Worlds" that is also part of the series. It is a great little story. It can be read last. Please do not compare this series to the dark hunters. It is totally different. I enjoyed all the books.

The unabridged audio follows the book 100%. You probably grabbed the abridged version, which makes the listening much less daunting, but it leaves a lot out.
