Jessica (imahoodieninja) | 170 comments finished Bound by Shadow (The Dark Crescent Sisterhood, #1) by Anna Windsor , could not for the life of me get into Riana and Creed. Couldn't find the spark and I wish the action didn't start to late in the book.
I am now reading Evermore (The Immortals, #1) by Alyson Noel

Sparkle (sparkle00) Has anyone read Jane's Warlord by Angela Knight? I am enjoying it very much.

A book away from an episode of hoarders (fidgit77) | 49 comments I just finished Crescendo and I considered throwing it several times.

Not that I didn't like it but still...

That would be great if the user allowed that kind of communication, but as it is it's not possible to send a private message to her if you're not friends.

But thank you very much for the link to the discussion on GoodReads Feedback. Very interesting.

BTW, I'm still trying to read Crave but can't seem to find the time to finish it. So far it has not impressed me.

that's a great idea. i don't like reading 1st person books either. Bitten in Women of the Underworld series is written in first person. it took me a while to get into it. for that reason that series is not on my 1st to be read list. i will get back to it though cause i liked the plot.

Aloha Thank you, Christine. Sometimes people come in, ignoring the full warnings, then make quick judgments without knowing what is really happening in the group. That is what people mean by keeping an open mind and having tolerance. Until you get the full information, you can really injure the other party unjustly. Again, if a person entered a private group that requires permission, you have voluntarily done so. If you don't like it, please leave, but please don't cause problems for the group or its members.

Lol, no. The Highlander series is NOT lacking romance. Lol, not by a long shot. I'd say the Fever series is more pg-13 w/the romance and the Highlander a solid rated R. It's not super explicit like Lora Leigh's Breeds series (which was too much for my taste) but still good. I think you'll enjoy them. When you read them, you'll be able to think back to when the characters were mentioned in the Fever series and go "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" :) It'll be a light bulb moment. ;)

As Yz has said, this thread is for discussing current reads. Aside from the fact that it's derailing discussion, it's just not appropriate to discuss another group's problems here in Paranormal Romance in general. Any further off topic posts in this thread will be deleted.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly. Thanks.

Mercenaries

I am glad you clarified all that. I have to agree with Christine and say shame on Rebecca for slandering ya'll on another discussion board. It's her fault for joining when you outlined the type and content of the material contained in the group that is her fault and no one else's.
Although your group doesn't sound like it's for me, EVERYONE has the right to make their own choices including that of their lifestyle and no one should be cruel and slander them whether or not one agrees with that choice or lifestyle. I'm really sorry to hear ya'll were given a hard time over it.

I read the Highlander series 1st and was SOOOOO glad I did. The characters in that series are mentioned (and some are in) the Fever series. It helped me understand the references the Fever series made to the characters that are in the Highlander series. You'll be glad you read them once you read the Fever series. Besides, bood 5 (the last one) of the Fever series isn't due out until Jan 18, 2011 so by the time you finish the Highlander series and then get to book 4 of the Fever series, the last book will be that much closer to being released. The cliffhanger in book 4 is KILLER!!!!!!!! AUGHHHHHHHHHH! Can't wait till Jan 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

message 9882: by Rebecca (new)

Yes, all the books in the Highlander series are out. The 1st book is slow so don't give up on the series if the book drags for you. The series only gets better w/each book :) Have fun reading them, I know I did! :)

I heard great things about Outlanders. I have the first 2 books and its audio. I just have to find time for roadtrip.
