Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) East looks so similar to one that I just read (they're from the same fairy tale I think) :

For some reason I had trouble getting into Clockwork Angel, but it got really good the more I read. By the time I finished it I was so in love with Jem and Will. I'll admit though, I was kind of mad at Will at the end but I'm sure there is more to the story. I hate the wait for the next one!

I think that the series as a whole was not going anywhere and making me madder with each book. I am the type that I hate to quit a series that I am so far into unless I just can't stand it anymore. I almost did not buy this book and decided to give her one more try. It is better then the previous ones as Zoey isn't as whine-y as before. It is "meaty" so to speak, it has something substantial that keeps you reading and fills you up. If that makes any sense. I will get the next in the series and hope she keeps me as a reader

Lizz (Beer, Books and Boos) | 280 comments I'm done with Water Bound (Sisters of the Heart, #1) by Christine Feehan and i'm reading No Rest for the Wicked (Immortals After Dark, #3) by Kresley Cole

Rebecca (bexsi) I have just finished The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games and all I can say is WOW, I couldn't put it down the only reason it took me so long to pick up was that I was put off by the futuristic note, but WOW what a book. I have just started Fire Study (Study, #3) by Maria V. Snyder Fire Study I loved the first two I hope this is just as good.

Keri | 158 comments Angie wrote: "I loved the Fever Series and I'm interested in reading the Highlander Series. Could you tell me, is this considered urban fantasy, paranormal romance, or just romance? Is there anything paranorma..."

Highlander series is paranormal romance. Some of the characters are Fae, others have supernatural powers, magic, etc. They're good and worth the read. The 1st book is slow so don't give up on the series by judging the 1st book. They get better. I highly recommend you read the Highlander series before you read the Fever series. The Fever series mentions characters from the Highlander series. If you've not read the Highlander series 1st, you'll be lost and not understand the references made in the Fever series.

Hope this helps!

Pansy, you're going to LOVE the Fever series. The cliff hangers are killer though. Am trying (but not succeeding) to be patient for the last book to be release Jan 18,2011.

Alisa (alisakayco) | 110 comments I just finished the Georgina Kincaid series.. LOVED it. I didn't think I would love it this much. I can't wait until the 6th book comes out. I'm guessing it's the last one? Does anyone know for certain?

I should have waited longer before starting the series. I procrastinated for a while because I didn't think it would be that good but wow. I hate waiting a whole year just to finish a series... I really should have waited before starting it lol *sighs*

message 9762: by [deleted user] (new)

Not sure what to read next, I recently started both Slave to Sensation as well as Pride. I have to say that I think Slave to Sensation is winning at the moment though, I just can't get it out of my mind (and I haven't even gotten further than 100 pages yet!) And here I thought I wouldn't like it... :)

Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling, #1) by Nalini Singh Pride (Shifters, #3) by Rachel Vincent

Lady Allison I finally read & finished Covet (The Fallen Angels, #1) by J.R. Ward this weekend! I really liked it (not as much as BDB, but it definitely has its merits) & look forward to Crave (The Fallen Angels, #2) by J.R. Ward

I read the Fever first too BUT so many light bulbs went on as I was reading the Highlander series. I love this series and HATE to see it ends. I loved it from the very first book. I was enthralled with the Highlanders from bk 1-3 and was thinking, WOW, it gets better??? All of them are great reads.

Tracy T. | 252 comments I just finished Unholy Ghosts (Downside Ghosts, #1) by Stacia Kane . At first, I was confused but now I'm addicted to the series. I really like the characters, especially Terrible. The only thing I didn't like was her writing style sometimes. There are a few lines that I can only describe as being mashed up between first and third person and it really bugged me.

I loved him too! But it seems like she's really meant for Seth so that's who I want her to be with... and because I want Roman to myself LOL. Seth is the first "nice guy" that I really fell for in a story. Most characters these days, well, in this genre anyways, are the bad boys LIKE Roman. So it's nice for Richelle to create a character who's a real nice guy that's actually attractive.

Jen ~The dreamer~ | 649 comments I'm also a huge Georgina Kincaid fan! I LOVE the series and can't wait until next SEPTEMBER! UGH! I love Seth and I think he and Georgina are meant to be together, I mean, all through out her life they've "been together" it's time for their HEA. I think Roman is pretty awesome and I hope for a series spin off !!! How great would that be? I also think Carter is a fascinating character and would love to see him appear in a series with Roman.

Donna (BLHmistress) (BLHmistress) | 16 comments Now I liked her God's of the Night's series a lot but this one though I liked it I would probably not reread again but then I haven't read the whole series I think I started on the last book not sure though. So I was confused and its strange descriptions of Good and Evil was a bit odd for me.

I really had a hard time rating this book too wish they had half stars.

I'm only about 50 pages in, but if you say it gets better, I trust you! It's definitely more interesting than the first one.

Na'kia, I just finished Covet myself & enjoyed it. It's definitely different, but having read the BDB already helps!

Rachel Haimowitz (metarachel) | 13 comments I'm working my way through Infected: Prey now for a Shifter challenge over on Kindle Smut (I think? Maybe it's on M/M Romance). I'm finding myself enjoying it as I read it, but feeling no compulsion to pick it up again after I've put it down. Definitely an interesting world, but I must be failing to connect to the characters somehow, or I think I'd be more eager to finish it.
