Oh ya :D I am just about finished with the first one. And hopefully on to the second one tomorrow. I heard that like the Black Dagger Brotherhood books; they each are about a different person. Who is the second one about? I heard the last one talks a lot more about Luc.

You should they are really good. Even though they are pretty much HOT HOT for PNR they are really good. And very addicting. And they aren't dark at all like some "Demon" books are.I hope you like them :D

You are totally right. I read all the BDB books before I read Mockingjay and I was kind of bummed when Gale was kissing Katniss in District 2 or 8 (wherever it was) And the kiss like totally ended with nothing. I was so mad, I think those books effected me. I go both ways with the books I read, but sometimes my brain gets going on the Romance more than the YA. I think I have a problem. LOL. I never read Romance until this year, and now I like them just as much or more somtimes. So what you were saying totally reminded me of that. I think that's awesome!! You are not alone :D

Domino (aka Meme) (bryghtstarr) | 663 comments Club Dead was great! i'll be shopping for the next two in the series today. i like how in the books there is development of the characters. it helps u understand their responses and actions a heck of a lot better. i like seeing another side of Pam as well. she's funny on TrueBlood, but better in the novels. my favorite part of this book was when Eric and Bill were arguing in front of Sookie at the end and she resended her invitation. it was really funny.
currently reading Flirt (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #18) by Laurell K. Hamilton and Shopgirl by Steve Martin i'm really excited to read Shopgirl cause i saw the movie and loved it. i'm hoping to get a better feel of the characters. it's a novella, so i'll see. it's by Steve Martin, and actually kinda serious. i was a bit surprised and applaud him on job well done =)

Hi Sarah, I was never caught up in leisure reading when I was in HS, college, throughout life in general...sad I know but never too late. At 42, after the Twilight craze, I turned to PNR and never looked back. Now it's make up time and guilty pleasure for this SAHM. I have 15 pgs of the MOCKINGJAY to go, omg...seriously?...

Hey Amy, I know what you mean. When I was pregnant with my kids I started reading more and It was the Twilight books that really kicked it off for me. Now it's like I can't get enough. I go back and forth from YA to PNR but I prefer more PNR now. The dumb teenage girls in the YA books drive me CRAZY! **sigh**
I wasn't too thrilled about how fast some of the scenes in Mockingjay went. It could have definitly been longer :(

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments I LOVE the Guild Hunter series. In fact, I was re-reading Angels' Blood after I finished the Mockingjay. I have the feeling I would like Elemental Assassin bc of Cat from The Night Huntress...hope I can find Bones in this series. I feel so bad postponing The Highlanders again.

Thanks!

message 9078: by Crazy4more (new)

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments boohoo...no Bones in Spider's Bite but the heroine is the toughest I've read so far, maybe too tough. It's hard to connect and find her endearing but she is warming up. Gin is super good at what she does and the storyline has no pity for lacking of action.

Onto Web of Lies (Elemental Assassin, #2) by Jennifer Estep !
