Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 411 comments I also liked Angels Blood, I am on a long list at my library to receive the next one! I wsnt to sure about Raphael at first but I warmed up to him!

I can see why people maybe didn't like Mockingjay, for me it certainly wasn't a feel good book and a clear cut happy ending, but I still loved it and wasn't disappointed with the ending.

Jen ~The dreamer~ | 649 comments I'm going to start the Immortals After Dark, but I'm confused....is A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark, #2) by Kresley Cole the first book or second?

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 411 comments HLNO is the fist full length book, but there is a short novella that you can read first which is: The Warlord Wants Forever, however, you don't necessarily have to read it, it isn't essential. It is in Playing Easy to Get anthology, but I have heard that people have downloaded it for free somewhere but I don't know where

I have not started the Black London series but I know I'm going to like them.
Right now- I'm clearing out some of the TBR that came up on group reads. Raised By Wolves is really engaging.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 411 comments I will have to check it out, I don't think I have heard of that one before.

I am also clearing things out, I have bought a load of books lately and am now trying to read my way through them and finish of a few series. But I always seem to find other books I want to read as well!

****
Me too. I have a ton of library books and then there are all the books I keep picking up that they don't have and just last night I discovered another source for library books - just requested a ton from other libraries - I hope they don't all come in at once. Love this thread because almost every time I come here I end up adding another series to my long list of books to read. I really need to get through the books I own so I can maybe pass them on - yeah right I can't part with them why even pretend that is an option LOL.

They all got maximum stars when I rated them. I think it's a great series. She doesn't have anything on the calendar upcoming for that series but she left the last book open for more. So, I'm hoping to see more in the future.

I hope you'll get soon. It's such a beautiful read. I enjoyed everything about it. AK exposes Elena to the world of Angels, meeting the Seven (Raphael's guards), and always fighting for her humanity, rights and utilize her hunting skills. Archangel's Kiss (Guild Hunter, #2) by Nalini Singh

message 8841: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea (vampirebookclub) | 89 comments About two-thirds of the way through Crusade by Holder, Nancy . Kind of a slow start -- lots of world-building -- but after the half-way mark things really pick up. I'm really enjoying it now.

message 8842: by Heather in FL (new)

Heather in FL (heather_fl) Denise wrote: "Is there a lot of action in Lords of the Underworld or is it more of just a romance?"

I've read the first three. There is a bit of romance, light sex (less/cleaner than BDB, more than Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series, IMO), not the roller-coaster ride of Karen Chance's Cassandra Palmer series, but a good story to keep you reading what's next. The first three were a lot about how the hero/heroine were going to overcome the obstacles keeping them apart and them recognizing/admitting their attraction for the other. And there's a common thread running through all three. I suspect that's how the rest of them are. I'm going to get back to them... I really want to see what Paris's HEA is going to be.

HTH!
