There are three books and I have loved them. Just the ending of number three was a bit strange.

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments Done with Faefever (Fever, #3) by Karen Marie Moning . Jennifer, seriously, what's Moning thinking ending a book like that? thank goodness I have Dreamfever (Fever, #4) by Karen Marie Moning on my hot little hands. I can't fathom waiting after such cliffhanger. So hating finishing this book and knowing the 5th one is the last one.

message 8703: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 429 comments No, you need to at least read part of it so you can get over the cliffhanger! If you thought 3 ended omg like, then just WAIT until you get to the end of 4; its omg-ness is even worse! and the wait does not help it at all!

I'm just finishing up Faefever (Fever, #3) by Karen Marie Moning right now. I'm going to start Dreamfever (Fever, #4) by Karen Marie Moning tonight...I didn't read your whole posts in case there were spoilers but I've heard a friend mention disappointment after Dreamfever.

I think the best book of the series was Bloodfever (Fever, #2) by Karen Marie Moning .

message 8707: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 429 comments I wouldn't say disappointment but the ending of dreamfever is just wow and wtf just happened?

message 8708: by Crazy4more (new)

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments Now you guys are making me skeptical about finishing book 4. Ashley, you and I are about the same pgs. I won't have spoiler but how do you guys feel about Barrons? he's so secretive and mysterious it's killing me.

message 8709: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 429 comments I LOVE Barrons, even tho his secrets drive Mr crazy. But January is VERY far away and that's driving me crazy, the waiting, the boy knowing.

At times its exciting at other times its like "meh". I have the next 2 books, I'll keep reading them but was quite disappointed with this series

Mockingjay is good but the last few chapters are a bit strange. I liked the first two very much. Another YA series that I loved was City of Bones. About to start Clockwork Angel

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 411 comments I can't wait to read it, I have it down in some September challenges so I am going to wait until tomorrow. I have heard that the ending is abit strange, but I need to know what happens.

I can never normally get into YA, especially romance as it just irritates me after a while, which is a shame as they have all the best covers!

message 8728: by Crazy4more (new)

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments Can't wait to start Clockwork Angel too. I love Mortal Instrument series, Jace....

Melissa | 14 comments Denise wrote: "Just finished Mockingjay and the last few chapters really threw me for a loop. It was like the author changed or suddenly ran out of space. Strange ending too. Anyone else think this?"

I thought the exact same thing. I was disappointed at how the author portrayed Katniss at the end. I loved the series but I thought the ending was against the character of Katniss and just brushed over other characters.

Can someone help me find a book? A series written by an African American woman, I think the main character is a vampire killer? Ring any bells? I can't remember the name of the author.

Now reading Unholy Ghosts (Downside Ghosts, #1) by Stacia Kane ....don't know how I feel about it. It's not bad, but it's not great...it's annoying how the "gangsters" talk.
