I'm with you reading ONE FOR THE MONEY too...just to get another glimpse of Bones. Can you believe Mencheres, what a surprise sweetie. I don't know if I can see him as the big-shot-vampire in the future. He's busted...what a hottie and such a romantic guy. Atlantis by Gena is cute and good but Lords of the Underworld is better, IMO.

Hi Robin, I've read Gena's Atlantis, Alien Huntress and LOTU series. LOTU series has Greek's methology which I just love. The series deal with these Greek warriors possessed by varies demonds when the Pandora box was open. Like many PNR, it's fast past, funny, endearing and heartwrenching. Very nice and rich plots too. You can definitely and easily find yourself attach to these characters.

'One for the Money' was somewhat a let down. I especially liked Bones during the 'Bite' and ending scenes. - But when do I ever not like Bones... - But it needed to be longer! More content! Storyline! I wanted a novel and not a novella! There was more content in her previous novella 'Reckoning'...
Im gonna have to wait for the next book then.

Mencheres is...wow. First with the flowers/fireflies then the bubbles with the rubber ducky comment, then going to Disneyland. He's adorable and very, very attentive. It would be difficult seeing him as a 'grandsire' again after reading this book!

As for Gena Showalter's series, I have read that LOTU does have better reviews than Atlantis. I do plan on reading that series afterwards. Even though there isnt a relation between the series (none that i know of) I just didnt want to read LOTU first then back to Atlantis.

I was very disappointed with the novellas of Cat & Bones.

I do like the Atlantis Series. It's tender, sweet and nice storylines. LOTU is darker, fast pace but not as hard core as BDB and not as funny as NH, but I found that the characters are just as rich, hot and interesting.

This book was kind of boring and I could gues at what was going to happen. It didn't really have any real charater growth. I kept syaing to myself I wish something different would happen here or I wish the story would build more off of this idea. Werewolf story. The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay here I come....

just finished re-reading Lover Eternal. i needed a Rhage fix. i totally love this story. i loved how candid Rhage was and his complete devotion to Mary. it was so cute. i think i enjoyed it better this time around. it was nice re-reading all my favorite scenes. he is definitely up there with Zsadist. now that i have Butch's story i need to read it. miss my BDB.

i had to take a break from my challenge book this past weekend cause all i could think about was re-reading Rhage's story. now i want to continue. it's a toss up of reading #2 in the Sookie Stackhouse Series or reading Butch's story for my next challenge book. i think i'll just read both. i'm dying to get caught up in the BDB series. and, i have all the books. hehe

I've just read the entire Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost, all 4 books, passed them onto my sister, and then read First Drop of Crimson and am now reading Eternal Kiss of Darkness. The spin-off books did not grab me quite as much as Cat's books, I guess I just love her and Bones so much, and First Drop of Crimson was pretty good, Eternal Kiss of Darkness is coming in as my least favorite so far...I'm a little more than halfway through it, have about 100 pages left. Can't wait for the new one that's supposed to come out in Feb. 2011

I'm in love with Jeaniene Frost, the woman is amazing and a real leader in the genre and I'm rereading her books now. Jaime Rush is also one of my favs her Offspring series is amazing.

I just finished rereading Ember by Bettie Sharpe, and I'm again impressed. It's a very original retelling of the Cinderella story, with a wicked main character. I believe it's still a free ebook on Sharpe's site, so definitely worth a look.

Then I just went to the library and borrowed some sentimental value books from when I was a young teen. The Thule series by Thea Beckman is excellent, an it's a shame they haven't been translated to english. They totally should!

This keeps you guessing! I don't like that its cat & Mouse between Jessica & Lucius. It just seems repetitive after the first few chapters. So far it's decent, but I wouldn't really recommend it if you're looking for a romance. Its more like a game.

The fever series is about Mac and Barrons and the books have several covers. The paperback I had was a blue cover, but that was over a year ago.

Still the same series. Just different covers.
The one you've posted was the hardcover version. - Thats the one I have - They changed it to the blue cover for the paperback and continued with that style for the following books.

Now they have changed the covers again and will be releasing them like the following:

finished last night. didn't really like it. plot seemed rushed at times and then at others drawn out. i don't think i'll be reading more from Nina Bangs. back to Bertrice Small with . should be back to Anita Blake tomorrow once i go to Barnes and Noble. spent too much time trying to find at Half Price Books. can't wait!

I just finished Bitten yesterday and started reading The Warded Man last night. I like Bitten but not as much as some of the books I have recently read. What I have read so far of The Warded Man it is very interesting. It's not like most of the books I read but I have to admit how descriptive Peter Brett is and how he is laying out the plot, I am already hooked. So I am very happy with my new book choice.

I started Kiss of the Rose: The Tudor Vampire Chronicles read about 3 chapters and I felt it was kind of dragging so I put it down and started reading I'm the Vampire, That's Why. I read 10 chapters last night and was very amused. I enjoyed that there was a lot of funny lines and snarky interaction between the characters.
