What are you reading right now?

Same here. ^_^ I'm liking it a lot better than "First Drop of Crimson.

When you say the first book, you mean The Darkest Fire? Because that's sort of like a prequel and not representative of the series, IMO. Granted, I've just started reading LOTU, but I got the Lords of the Underworld Bundle that includes the first four. I just finished that last night. I may not have stayed interested if I *just* read the prequel. Hopefully you'll find #2 good -- I did. And #3 and #4 are good too. Good enough to continue the series. :-) I went and bought the rest of what currently exists last night.

if Frost did better than Hamilton in One Foot in the Grave, i've got to get my hands on that book. hehe. i enjoyed the first one. i'm looking forward to reading the next in the series, but now even more so with ur comment Lora. =)

I started the tv series first and love it! but now, after reading the first book i had to refrain cause i have this strong desire to finish the books first. i totally understand Pamela.
I just finished reading the Cat and Bones series. As always, I'm not in the post-book funk during which I have to mourn my friends :)

Ooh, conflicted how? I just posted that I had recently finished the series. I totally loved it :)

Is she making another one?!

I think the next one is due out in February. She said she'll do 7 or 8 total for the series (if I remember correctly).

Just started

I meant "The Darkest Night". I haven't read the prequel yet.
I'm almost done with the second, and even though I like it better than the first, it's still not "there" for me. I'll read the third and if it continues only being "mildly" interesting, I'll have to drop it afterwards. Lets see how it goes.

Yeah, sorry... I went back and looked and I was apparently completely confused. ;-) I actually liked the first one, but I have been noticing a bit of repetition. That's what I get for reading them back to back. The one complaint I have is that when the H/h finally get together, the dialogue is so incredibly cheesy, lol.

I love this book too. I didn't expect Mencheres to be the romantic type. The storyline, the characterizations and the details were much better than Spade's book. I didn't want it to end, I love Mencheres now. Always thought he's too timid and untouchable due to his power and older-than-dirt age, but oh, was I wrong, sigh...

Now, I'm trying to decide which to start tonight:

I would go with Linger while Shiver is still fresh

He's VERY romantic and I just fell in love with him during this book. I also liked this book better than Spades. Mencheres is so dreamy! :D

Just got my hands on

I'd read a dedicated series of Mencheres and Kira as well...

I am halfway done and pleasantly surprised by how well the story flowed. Especially since I did not have a clue about the book. One of the few books I didn't bother to read the description on back or any reviews.

I love the Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelley Armstrong. No cliff hangers at the end of the third book. There is a fourth book coming out involves a different main character but same world.

Okay sounds good. Off to read the first one.
