The next book does look good! I just added it.

You were right. The last bit picked up and I finished last night. I liked it, was just surprised how long it took. LOL. I really like Rachel, Ivy and Jenks -- intriguing characters, so I'll be picking up the next book in the series.

So glad you like the series. I'm done with her series, boohoo...

I would go for the PC Cast's Marked. I've been reading with the series and to be honest with you I didn't really like Marked when I first started reading it but then I got hooked lol I'm reading Burned now which is I think the 7th in the series and its a really good story. I hope that helps you :-}:

has anyone else read 'friend or fae' by Hannah Blatchford?
I think it has only just come out but I love this book (only two chapters left) and was wondering if there are any more vampire/faerie type books like this that are set in the UK?

So far not impressed - Cassie seems to have the IQ equivalent of her bra size. So many angles are being thrown up in the first half of the book that I am anticipating a cliff hanger with the words to be concluded in the next series ringing in my head. I enjoy Chance's writing style but sometimes I feel as if this book was a struggle.

I read The Short Life of Bree Tanner and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I haven't read Burned yet so let me know how it is. I almost want to give up on that series but keep coming back. The Host is a great book. I was drawn into that world and felt so much for the characters.

I read Interview with the Vampire years ago. I don't know if you've read Anne Rice before, but she loves to ramble on. There's a part in the book where she goes on for a couple of pages describing a dark room.
Interview is OK. It's not the best book in the series, but it's not the worst either.

I haven't read this, so take this for what it's worth. Some people love Sunny, some people hate Sunny. I read a short story that had something to do with the Monere storyline, and was almost a little grossed out by it. It didn't make me want to seek out a full-length book by her.

No, I have never read Anne Rice before....which one do you recommend?
She rambles? hhhmmmmm

One of the reasons that I like Queen of the Damned & the Mayfair Witches was because those books had a lot of back story, which I love. In Queen of the Damned you got the back story of how vampires came into existence and in the Mayfair Witches you got the back story on all the previous Mayfair witches.
I would give Interview a try; you might like it. I believe that Anne Rice has wonderful ideas; however, her ramblings often bogged down the story.

It was a great read! I am looking forward to

Well I'm half way through Burned and I think its good although it seems like something is missing but still a good read.

That one was a little slow for me too Chelsea. Don't give up the story picks up and the series gets better. I always figure the first book in a series is where the world building and character development begins so sometimes it can be drawn out and sluggish but after that its all good.
