Don't worry, I'm the same way!! I have way too many books on my "to read list" and also on my bookshelf at home! ;)

Heather (doc77) | 79 comments Well I just finished Pandora (New Tales of the Vampires, #1) by Anne Rice ...now I haven't read Anne Rice since high school and I loved her then but I gotta say I was disappointed with this book. Am on the first few pages of Storm Front (The Dresden Files, #1) by Jim Butcher and have heard alot about this series and it has been a great start so far, really like the way it opens

There are three series I can think of that include hot Highlanders, time travel, and faeries -

Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning
Daughters of the Glen series by Melissa Mayhue
Masters of Time series by Brenda Joyce

Also there is a paranormal romance series involving hot Scottish werewolves -

The MacInnes Werewolves series by Kendra Leigh Castle

Shelleyrae at Book'd Out | 145 comments Sigh - went to the library to get one book The Slap by Christos Tsiolkas and came home with 12 - already have 18 challenge books that need reading - all waiting their turn patiently. Addiction is absurd.

Currently reading Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater not sure what next.

message 7458: by Erin (new)

Erin (erin-b) Kept putting off Rapture in Death (In Death, #4) by J.D. Robb for some reason but read the whole thing tonight and loved it. I keep getting distracted from Destined for an Early Grave (Night Huntress, #4) by Jeaniene Frost , so maybe I'll move on to Queen of Song and Souls (Tairen Soul Series, Book #4) by C.L. Wilson instead.

message 7459: by Karin Elisabeth (new)

Karin Elisabeth (goodreadscomkarinelisabeth) | 34 comments Hello, everyone, I'm new to this group.
I just finished "Ecstasy Unveiled" and enjoyed it a lot more than the third book.
I'm still putting off reading "Queen of Song..." because I want to wait for the last book and then read them one after the other.
Also waiting for "Bonds of Justice". (Come to think of it, I seem to do a lot of waiting at the moment!)

Queen Betsy is too funny.

I liked Queen Betsy, too. Some people find her to be the most annoying vampire ever, but I loved her snarkiness. Love me some Sinclair. :-)

message 7467: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Harris | 77 comments She is annoying for a vampire, and that is what makes her so funny to me. She honestly doesn't understand why anything should have to change just because she's dead. LOL...that is too funny for words.

And Eric Sinclair is awesome-flavored fabulousity.

message 7468: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) I tried reading that series and just couldn't get into it. I might try again later on IDK yet.

That could be just me though. When I read the Harry Potter series, I was all over the Snape/Potter connection. I'm good at predicting.
