I definitely think they get better. The third book, Caressed by Ice, is my favorite. I really like the story that arcs throughout the books.

Don't give up, Rebecca! The Carpathians _do_ get better. I agree that Dark Prince didn't have a very strong storyline but it did introduce the main characters and their situations.

Ink Exchange was my favorite. It gets a bit darker. The covers in this series are beautiful!

Keep reading. I really recomment the series. There are lot of books in this series. The characters really develop as you go through each story.

I am reading Mortal Temptations . I got this book because of the cover, looked interesting and he kinda had an angel tatoo (or so I thought). First, the description of the heroine does not match the cover and second, shoulda read the reviews. Don't get me wrong, I am definitely reading it rapidly, however, this is my first m/f/m menage of substance and I was not expecting it. All I can say is whew!! It's heated.
