I hope you got on well with your group, it must have been a bit nerve racking, these things usually are first time around. It's my turn tonight,[thursday @6.30:], I'm being interviewed on Wayland radio ,107.3fm, about my just released gardening book, 'Beyond the Potting Shed'. I've never done anything like it before, I suppose nervous is a good description, it hasn't reached the panic stage... YET!!!
It should be possible for you to listen to it via their web page.
Anyway, well done you, I'll let you know if I survive!!
All the best Paul Rix [oldgeezer:]

Even though the evening went they were starting to make me feel uncomfortable by saying that I should get my book published and where telling me where to send my book and how to go about it too. I am a long way off finishing writing it so I felt that they were rushing me to finish it (not nice).
I feel very unsure about going next month.

I am really pleased but the only thing is it is a self study course I would of like to of gone to college to do it then I would of been able to meet other people too.

the book was ok but I felt that there was to many characters and to much going on in the story for me

Hope things are going ok for you all? Sorry that I havent been on much or been in the group. It that I have been busy getting things sorted go and I have had quite a few interviews for diferent courses that I want to do.
I just started a English course which is Ran at my local Library. The course is for people with Dyslexica or other reading or spelling problems. We can go at our know pace or if we need extra we can get it and as I need to use a computer they are going to peravide one for me which will be a great help. When the Tutor came and had a chat with in class she told me that she cant see why not that I cant work up to my GCSE English exam that real put a smile on my face and she has made me feel confendent that I can do it. We have got to read 5 Poems and 5 short story's as a grout which I am looking forward too I think.
Friday I have got my final interview for my ECDL Computer course that I want to do. I have got to pay for it on friday. my tutor Lee is going to go through a bit more with me about the course. He is also going to make sure that I am comfertable using the computer as he said he can get me a tracker ball to use instead of a mouse which will be great.

Good luck with the course.
Good luck with studies Nick.
I switched recently from mouse to track ball and I have found it to be very comfortable. It does take a bit of getting used to though. Trouble is there are not very many available. I got the Logitech one which is cordless.

Another good book by Dan Brown. Robert Langdon get it sorted once again and I hope there will be many more book to come in the Robert Langdon Series.
I did find the story heavy going at times same with Angels and Demons, The Da Vinci Code. But I put it down to my reading why I felt the books heavy going not the way Dan Brown writes.
