So I recently finished reading Shadow Kiss, the third in the series by Richelle Mead and wanted to know what others thought of the series overall. I'm really enjoying it so far but the ending of Shadow Kiss devastated me.

What do you think?

April, I've read 400 pages into Blood Promise and I am kind of into Adrian, now that Dimitri has turned Strigoi and ridiculously manipulative.

Yet, I think I can still hold onto my previous image of Dimitri as a dhampir - kind, loving, selfless.

I loved it. It was my favorite book in the series so far. Two more come out this year, and then she's doing another 6 book series in the same world with a different MC, moving Rose to a secondary character.

I finished Blood Promise, and I'm not exactly sure how I feel about it. It was good, but not as satisfying as the other books. But I think that's the point...
