I am agreeing with this quote because in Impulse by Ellen Hopkins, one of the characters had a perfect life while being a junior in school. However her life changed dramatically, and she wanted to commit suicide after meeting the love of her life. Consequently, she had two babies, became addicted to heroin, cocaine, and crystal meth. This after changed when she generates that her life was not at all what she wanted. Therefore, she started to change her addictions to all those drugs, and went to live with her mother. The dark times dawn and her eyes begin to see what’s best for her, similarly Christina‘s the main character in Crank by Ellen Hopkins saw how the dark times dawn as well and her eyes generates to see. Christina had the best life, for instance, best grades at school, perfect body, and guys back wanting her.
