113. Fever 1793, by Laurie Halse Anderson
I was really hoping to hit my 144 this year, but didn't count on such an eventful year! I moved twice before buying my house, which of course meant a third move, dealt with family issues and health issues and everything that you can't plan for. I guess everybody gets that! I would just like to increase my reading next year I guess, at least do better than I did this year. Maybe I will get some free time this month and catch up, or at least get closer to my goal.

Not at all what I expected when I picked it up, but it turned out to be a wonderful book that I couldn't put down.

107. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, by Mary Ann Shafer and Annie Barrows
Both books made me cry. I couldn't put either down, read through from start to finish even though I needed to do other things. Other things will always wait!
