I am reading 'An Atlas of Impossible Longing'. I have enjoyed it so far - not mind blowing but still lovely and cuddly - if that makes sense.

I love Kate Atkinson - I hope you enjoy it.
The Eyre AffairI was going to start Pride and Prejudice and Zombies but I wasn't feeling it. Maybe after I finish The Eyre Affair (which is so good so far!)
I thought The Eyre Affair was a delight from start to finish! When I get time I'm going to work my way through the rest of the Tuesday Next books!
I just finnished in the past two and a half weeks:Black Boy, Dead and Gone, and my last of The Canterbury Tales . . . I am currently re-reading Empire Falls.
I haven't been reading a lot lately. I've been too busy. However, I did finally start reading Blood Sins, and I think I might begin reading The Lightning Thief. I saw Percy Jackson in theaters, and enjoyed the movie. My hubby read the first two books in the series and said they are pretty good. :)
Jo wrote: "I'm reading A Clockwork Orange"Awesome book, once you get the hang of Nadsat!
Curious, though ... do you have the "regular" American Edition (ends where the movie does) or the one with the extra chapter?

Thank you. So do I, ever since I first read Case Histories: A Novel. :)
Today I finished Magic Lost, Trouble Found and Truly, Madly. Both very good. One is urban fantasy and the other a cute romantic suspense.
Clockwork Orange ~ Spooky I was only thinking about this book/film last night and wondering if I had the courage to read/watch it. Will you post a review when you've finished. So, I'm reading Eternal which is written in a style that I enjoy but has so far to hit the mark, don't get me wrong it's very good but missing a litle extra something for me.
Finished The Eyre Affair and now starting 1984. The Eyre Affair was great; when i get paid for donating plasma i'll have to invest in the next couple of Thursday Next books!
I just started Outlander on the advice of a friend. I'm hoping it's worth it, but I've read mixed reviews on it.

I am currently reading The Sugar Queen and am really enjoying it. I have about 80 pgs left and should finish it today.

Have you read Garden Spells by the same author? I liked that one even better. If that's not enough, then her next book comes out on the 16th. Can't wait!
Barbara wrote: "Started book three in the series yesterday City of Glass."I really enjoyed that series.
I started Dragonquest yesterday and like it more than I expected. I thought it would be a rehashing of the first book but it's more complex.
I always thought the earliest books in the Pern series were the best. My favorites were Dragonsong, Dragonsinger, Dragondrums, although the Dragonflight/Dragonquest/White Dragon sequence were extremely good.I am about to start on Hostage - Don Brown
I've just started to read Aunt Dimity and the Deep Blue Sea. I'm looking forward to getting further through it!
Pop Goes the Weasel (Alex Cross, Book 5) by James Patterson Pop Goes the Weasel (Alex Cross, Book 5)
first book of hers I've read, well am reading. Really good but raising some questions I hope to be answered by the end of the book.
Started The Gargoyle and so far I'm really enjoying it. I'm hoping for some down time so I can read a lot more of it.
I finished Kitty Raises Hell. Loved it! I am going to start Thorn Queen today. Hopefully it holds my attention...
Nothing seems to be keeping my focus lately.
Power was out all last night, so I fired up my booklight, covered myself in blankets and read until the batteries gave out. Finished
Hostage - Don Brown
Wolf Signs - Vivian Arend
And got halfway through
Defiance - Don Brown
which I finished this afternoon.
Finished Dragonquest and liked it alot. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.I started on Auntie Mame: An Irreverent Escapade, a re-read.
