I have been lurking around for a week, and decided it was time for a proper introduction. I was immediately drawn to this group after discovering Bookmarks Magazine in a bookstore last weekend. I am in the midst of reading the November/December issue from cover to cover. I am now a new subscriber and hope to be receiving a bunch of back issues in the mail soon.I am Yankee-born but have lived in Birmingham, Alabama, for nearly 20 years. I practice health care law, and own two big dogs. I listen mostly to audiobooks, but have recently started reading words on a page again thanks to Oyster Books. I have also rediscovered the joy of holding a hard copy book in my hand and turning those pages. I am usually reading two books at a time: an audiobook and either an e-book on my iPad or a hard copy book. My other hobbies include crochet and genealogy.

I live in New Hampshire, but grew up in Western Mass.
I was born in Burlington, Vermont but was raised in New Hampshire - still have lots of family in Laconia. Love, love, love my visits home (and lobster rolls!)
