Because they're basically different editions of the same book. You can't add the hardcover and paperback version of a book even if you have both of them.
That makes no sense. Hardcover/paperback I can understand, but combining multiple language editions is odd.
You can added/review different editions - on the book page - Under the my review section - there are two options - Review this Edition / Switch to this editionIf you select the Edition you want to review it will add it to the shelves you select
