Christine Pin-ups are popular and Moira is beautiful and it would be daring!

I will have to think about that one a bit longer :-)

Did you watch all 12 episodes?

message 753: by Christine (new)

Christine Of American Horror? I have 2 more to go.

I find it very good but deeply disturbing.

I love disturbing :-) I am almost done re-reading AWAIT YOUR REPLY - I love that book :-)

message 757: by Christine (new)

Christine That book was definitely disturbing. You are braver than I to re-read it.

Gonna finish it tonight I think. Then I am re-listening to Stephen King's Gingerbread Girl :-)

Okay, I'm lost (happens too easily sometimes). Are we talking about American Horror Story - about the Harmon Family? I don't have cable, so I just ordered from Netflix. Is the series based on a book?
I *so* love being scared by a movie, or a Really scary book. You know the kind; when you Need more lights on, but are too scared to go into the Dark! to turn on the switch??!! BUAAAAAAAAhahhaha

message 762: by Tom (new)

Tom Mueller | 147 comments Thanks Dany. I put it in my queue.

Jackie (thelastwolf) Fringe has been interesting...The Observer and Olivia's fate, Walter helping Peter. What's Nina doing to Olivia? Next week looks awesome, both teams working together.

message 764: by Christine (new)

Christine This season has been awesome. I really hope we will not lose Fringe. Its one of the best shows on TV right now.

There is a possibility it may be cancelled. :(

I will be buying American Horror Story as soon as it's available on DVD.

I canceled my cable again so I have to watch Fringe on a one-week delay for free. When will we know the Fate of Fringe by Fox?

I liked Angel a lot more than Buffy.

Thanks for the Fringe vids.

That's exactly how I felt, Jackie. At least Dollhouse was permitted a proper series finale, unlike Firefly. I hope you enjoy them all, Dustin.

message 774: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thelastwolf) And what a finale it was!
We did get Serenity for Firefly. It still amazes me how that got cancelled.

Another good show was Dark Angel. 3 season but no proper finale.

Jaice Cooperrider (plasborgma) | 1299 comments Jackie wrote: "And what a finale it was!

True, but Serenity, which I enjoyed significantly more than the Firefly series, certainly owed no thanks to the television executives responsible for Fiirefly. I quite enjoyed the Dollhouse finale, but wish it hadn't come so soon. I'm a bit sad to hear this will be the final season of Fringe, but 5 seasons is a decent run. I never did watch much Dark Angel, but hope to do so eventually.

I have come to the conclusion that after Fringe, my second favorite TV series is Six Feet Under. I know Jackie is a fan of this show because she grew up in a funeral home herself (like the family on the show). Is anyone else a fan of Six Feet Under?

message 779: by Christine (new)

Christine I am too! Six Feet Under has some of the best writing done for television. West Wing is another one that I loved for the same reason. Aaron Sorkin has a new one coming out at the end of June that I am excited to see, Newsroom, on HBO

Thanks for sharing that trailer. I will watch for Newsroom. Of course, I don't currently have cable so will have to watch it online or wait for it on DVD. With Fringe on Fox, I was able to watch episodes 8 days after they aired for free.

message 782: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thelastwolf) I'm not sure when HBO allows their shows to air online for free, but I'd like to know what you find out. I have HBO right now, but I'm really considering letting it go.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 207 comments I don't have it and I get frustrated. If there's something on HBO they never let go of it. You have to buy it if you want to see it within a couple of years.

message 784: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thelastwolf) Ouch! HBO stays, then, lol

message 785: by Christine (new)

Christine I would be sad if you didn't have HBO. Would we talk about? lol

message 786: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thelastwolf) There's still plenty more. My neighbors just told me what they're paying for cable, the have everything I have, phone, extra fast internet, 2 DVRs plus 3 premium channels for a significant amount less than I'm paying. They're gonna get me the number of the person to talk to. If I can get it down like they did theirs, the premium channels won't be much of an issue.

I'm not sure I like it more than Angel, perhaps only because Angel was on longer (more than twice as long, in fact), such that I became more attached to its characters, but Dollhouse is definitely in my top 2 Whedon shows.

First it was announced that Twin Peaks would return in 2016, then FOX announced 6 new episodes for The X-Files.

David Duchovny plays a role in both TV Shows.
Do you think we could see a Twin Peaks/X-Files Cross-Over? Or is that as unlikely as Odd Thomas meeting Christopher Snow?

message 796: by Jaice (new)

Jaice Cooperrider (plasborgma) | 1299 comments It'd be amusing if they did a crossover involving both Duchovny characters.

A cross-dressing investigator :-) He wore a wig, a skirt or dress, lipstick. It was Awesome! Hope his character comes back to Twin Peaks.
