Tanya's Reading Goals for 2010 and 2011!

My goals for 2011 are largely a continuation of 2010s goals. That is:
1. To work on Diane’s Around the World in 80 Books Challenge as I’ve decided to travel around again after enjoying it so much last year. I don’t know whether I will get to 80 again this year, but I will definitely give it a go. Progress found at Tanya -- Frequent Flyer
2. To try and complete the 25 Books to Read Before Age 25 list. Currently on 17, with 8 to go. Titles listed in next post.
3. To read at least 40 books from the 1001 Books you Must Read Before You Die list (all 3 versions) (complete 12/09/11)
a. Within this goal I would like to reach 10% of the three combined lists. This means I need to reach 130 books (currently I am on 103). (complete 20/06/11)
b. I would also like to reach 10% of all the centuries/sections within the list. This means I have to read:
- 1 book from the 2000s section of the list (complete 01/01/11)
- 32 books from the 1900s (complete 10/10/11)
- 0 books from the 1800s (as I have already reached 10% in this section)
- 4 from the 1700s (complete 24/09/11)
and
- 2 from the pre1700s (complete 28/09/11)
c. Finally there are also 11 specific books from the list that I want to read this year as they also count for another list I am working on. Titles listed in next post.
