Sorry your cafe people mess up your drinks... I know we don't put in any creamer or sugar or anything like that in drinks, I think it's our policy not to. You can get pumps of plain sweetener if you ask, but it's not calorie-free.

Making some progress

I currently work at McD's...only been there a week. I got a call from Safeway about a job interview. IF they give me a job, should I quit McD's even though I just started there, and take the Safeway job?

Even though I only worked at McD's for a week, I've gotten a lot experience, especially with the cash register. I got called in a lot the past week. So I got more hours.
I guess the only thing that I worry about is quitting when they JUST hired. They will have to go through the whole process with someone else and I'm sure it's a hassle.

I have stayed with bad jobs just for that same reason. I agree that it would be a hassle for McDonalds, but if Safeway is a better fit, go for it.
I would go to the interview, when they ask when you would be able to start you can honestly tell them you are working at McDonalds and you would like to be able to give them a little notice, but that you would prefer a job at Safeway, and they will usually work with that. This is a normal question during any interview wether or not they are offering the position or still interviewing others before they make their decision.
I have carried two jobs before so that may be an option. I have also seen people give their two week notice to the current employers and have the employers tell them to just finish out the day. Either way, it will probably be a bit of juggling at the first but well worth it if Safeway is a better fit.
Good Luck!

The cafe workers at my B&N mess up my drink about half the time. Once I asked for one packet of splenda in my iced tea and the girl told me I had to put it in myself.
