Please dump your help in here and a topic will be created, if suitable. I'd like to thank everyone in advance for making peoples lives that little bit easier on Goodreads.

Writing technique; IT (general); applications (using Goodreads, creating a blog, networking a blog, using Office 2007, social networking queries, creating a website); scientific queries; arms and ammunition (about them, not where to get them); Celtic and Nordic mythology.
Probably other things, but I can't think of them off hand.
I know nothing about knitting, art, poetry, flower-arranging and hamster breeding.

Oh and as for what I have to offer for help? Not really sure...I need help. That's what I'm here for.
I still love you Andy, despite your scary sign.

I can arrange flowers, knit, write poetry but no hamster breeding.
Thanks for the reply Paul. It is a difficult one, where to draw the help line, but certainly worth discussing. I envisaged the help thing to enable users to be able to find info on anything required to glide around Goodreads in comfort and join in the fun quicker. What would you suggest is a good format for threads ? -
Computer Applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access...
Internet Use: Creating a Website, Creating a Blog, Networking a Blog
Goodreads: Add Book Videos, Friends, Create a Group...
Should we have help on where to find info for - Book Research, that might cover Ammunition, Science, Celtic and Nordic mythology...?
I suppose the breeing thing might be interesting inside a big clear ball:D

Renee, I assume you're talking about the scary question mark? I'll be putting some appropriate pic in there. I don't want to, or intend to stand on toes. I just want to help users find their way around Goodreads easily and although moderators are very ken to help new folk, the moderators are repeatedly asked the same questions.
What does OFW stand for?
If authors are writing about arranging flowers, kniting, writing poetry or even hamster breeding, then they should have that help. From the experience that I've seen on Goodreads, not just from you, but from nearly everyone on Goodreads, I feel this would be invaluable for others.

Also a general folder for anything not covered, then we can create new folders as and when.

You won't step on toes, this is a great idea.
I either haven't seen any rules sign when joining a group or I just haven't noticed? I'll try it again somewhere. I'll get to work setting up folder 'n' stuff. Thanks for your input so far guys. Your great.
Bestist regards. Andy

I've got a question. Is it possible to have, say a link to a word doc and open it from Goodreads?
