Lee! What has happened to you on Endomondo and MFP? You have disappeared. Are you well? I am worried about you!

Endomondo is an exercise tracker. You can manually enter your activities: running, walking, cycling, rowing and many other sports online on a PC, laptop or tablet. It also has apps available for iPhones and androids. These use GPS, so I can track my run as I go, and it automatically updates MyFitnessPal for me as soon as I finish a session. You can also link up with friends on there to exchange encouragement.
I am linked up to Lee, who pledged to walk every day in May. Where are you Lee?!

Actually, that's quite exciting. I do like visiting Naples Zoo, and the Everglades if I get the chance. Not for the aligators - close encounters with those chaps could be terminal! But the ospreys are to be marvelled at, and those shy manatees!

I know that Lee is REALLY busy with a major project but I'll have to let her speak for herself re her participation in various places.
Lance, my daughter Maggie was sick over the weekend with a really high fever. I actually still managed to get a bit of exercise in but I didn't use the tracker. And as Lisa says, I'm in the final stages of a planning a very large event here in Toronto. It's happening in 3 weeks, on June 15th and I'm literally consumed with it every waking moment. I wake up and my head is swarmed with details! Sorry, I'm so quiet lately, that is the reason. It's very important to me. Here is the website if you want to take a look. www.mtcas.org

Yes, she's fine. Bounced right back after her fever broke! :-)

Big smile!
The march is so great, Lee. You're wonderful for being so involved!!!
I'm so excited and a bit nervous of course. And I hope we get a decent turnout! I've been working on this since last fall and I'll be glad of a short break, maybe I'll even get to read a book or two once it's over. :-)

Great that Maggie's better! Kids do that. They worry the hell out of you, and suddenly they a running about. I call it the Lazarus syndrome!

Will she be Diana? Or Victoria? Or Alexandra?
Or will he be Charles? Or George? Or Edward?
Or even Lance?

Even though I really think it will be George, I have had a bet on the name being William.
No doubt Charles and Phillip will be in there somewhere.

Isn't it great to have some HAPPY NEWS on our TV screens and radios for a change? It is so much better than all the horrible news that we usually see and hear these days.

They have warmed the hearts of the nation, and made me proud to be British.
I can see that this has made the new broadcasts around the world, so I'm hoping that the news is making people all over the planet as happy as we feel here in the United Kingdom.

Isn't it great to have some HAPPY NEWS on our TV..."
I also hope that the new family will be able to get some privacy and that especially the tabloids will hold off with speculation and the like (some of what Kate has had to endure during her pregnancy was in my opinion unacceptable and while she is royalty, she is above all a new mother and needs time to adjust and to enjoy her new baby).
But I agree, this is so much better than the rather disheartening news we have been hearing worldwide recently.

Jane Austen has been confirmed as the next face of the £10 note in a victory for campaigners demanding female representation – aside from the Queen – on the country's cash.
Sir Mervyn King, the Bank's former governor, had let slip to MPs that the author of Pride and Prejudice was "waiting in the wings" as a potential candidate to feature on a banknote, and his successor, Mark Carney, confirmed on Wednesday that she would feature, probably from 2017.

This is the link to the Bank of England article on the subject.
