Michael (bigorangemichael) | 187 comments While I'm still not finished with the book, one thing I've noticed during my reading is the way in which other characters react to and interact with Lou.

We see Lou interact with people at the Center and his co-workers. We also have his bosses at work, though you could divide them into two categories--those who seem to like Lou and those who seem to not like Lou. (Again, this is a first-person perspective novel, so we're getting a filter here.)

We have Lou's friends at the fencing club and some of his neighbors.

We also have those who seem to have a more negative reaction to Lou--Mr. Crenshaw and Don spring to mind.

It's interesting to see how others relate to Lou and interact with him--as well as his interaction with them. I really like seeing how Lou feels uncomfortable in certain situations (like letting Danny into his apartment after the car is vandalized).

What do you think?
