Mayze Or we can just time turn into the future and check!

But that require my time turner- which i'm not supposed to use during the summer.

message 454: by Mayze (new)

Mayze darn muggle protection acts!

message 455: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Yeah, i know. I'm sorry. I need it to get to all my classes this coming year- although i wonder why i got mine right before the summer break started....*shrugs* Oh well, I guess the American Ministry is different than the British Ministry.

message 456: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I'm connfused ^_^

message 457: by Mayze (new)

Mayze It's ok, the British Ministry doesn't have any left. Harry and co. smashed them all

message 458: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Yeah, so any Brits who want one would have to apply to get one from another Ministry anyways.

message 459: by Mayze (new)

Mayze We could always use the TARDIS (any doctor who fans out there?)

message 460: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments (WOO HOO!)

But that would involve tracking the Doctor down- and that takes a while.

message 461: by Mayze (new)

Mayze That's true, and also recognizing him...

message 462: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments yeah, he does tend to change face a lot

message 463: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments Anna wrote: "It's ok, the British Ministry doesn't have any left. Harry and co. smashed them all"

Yeah, but as we discovered, Anna, it's possible to fix them.

message 464: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments *confused* It is????

message 465: by Mayze (new)

Mayze Kate you're confusing everybody :) It's hanging on my wall now with that yarn, nbd

message 466: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
I've read around 70 books already this year. (2011)

message 467: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid 56 is what my GR thing is saying. Only 56? Way, Way, you must read more.

message 468: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments 74 is my read so far. I'm 9 books behind on my goal.

message 469: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I've read 47 and I'm behind by 8.... Oh, this is horrible.

message 470: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments You'll catch back up, Nat!

message 471: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I sure hope so! It's odd, I read more during school...

message 472: by Mayze (new)

Mayze I never have enough time to read during the school year!

message 473: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I'm so odd. I read a book during the week and a book over the weekend (most of the time) during the school year, and summer's almost over and I've only read 6 books!

message 474: by Mayze (new)

Mayze I don't usually have a lot to do in the summer so I usually just go to the beach and read :) During the school year I can sometimes find time but my schedule is so packed that I only have time to read right before I go to bed.

message 475: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Ah. I don't know why I haven't been reading this much this summer, it's very out of character for me.

message 476: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid Because I'm home-schooled and antisocial and nerdy I usually can read a lot during both the summer and the school year. I'm known for bringing books with me everywhere I go.

message 477: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Me too, Way. The bringing books everywhere part.

message 478: by Mayze (new)

Mayze Way - same here (about bringing books everywhere). I get to a point where I forget that I'm carrying a book under my arm!

message 479: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Natalie wrote: "I sure hope so! It's odd, I read more during school..."

I do to, but since my BFF flew back home today I might have more reading time (and I don't have any more camps this summer)

Way- I'm not homeschooled or anti-social (at least not intentionally) but I AM nerdy and I always have a book (or two, depending how close I am to finishing the one I'm on) in my bag or purse- regardless of whether or not I'll have time to read.

message 480: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments Anna wrote: "Kate you're confusing everybody :) It's hanging on my wall now with that yarn, nbd"

Oops. Sorry everybody. The ones they sell in Orlando, at least, are fixable. I don't know about the ones the Ministry had.

Natalie, that's me too. I love to read, but I have had so little time to this summer.

This group is probably one of few places where I'm not the only one who brings a book everywhere. It's nice to feel not nerdy.

message 481: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahah, most definitely. Before I joined GR, reading was really the only things I did for fun. I mean, sure, I watched a lot of TV (not so much now that we don't have cable) and got on the computer occasionally, but now I know I'm not alone. :)

It's kind of unfortunate, huh?

Nerds unite! Rae, me too. Books, & occasionally TV and computer. Although music... But, yeah, you get the point. :)

message 483: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Yeah. It was pretty boring.

(okay, night. I have to get up for church in the morning)

message 484: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments Good night. I should go to bed too, given that I'll be up at 7:30 to go running. We'll see how soon that actually happens.

message 485: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahah yeah. I have to be up at 8- and staying up till 1 like i have been isn't gonna work.

message 486: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Good night everybody! Er- you're already in bed... It's 11:33 where I am right now, I'll probably go to bed in an hour.

message 487: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments ........yeah, you're in Cali, right? That's a 3 hour difference from kate and I (no we don't know each other in RL- we could've had the chance to though.)

message 488: by Mayze (new)

Mayze I'm in the same time zone as Rae and Kate :) Yay! Kate's actually the one who introduced me to goodreads.

message 489: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Yeah, I'm in Cali. :/ Kate.. Kate lives in NY, right? Anna, do you know her? Rae, how did you almost meet her?

Yes, so it's lunch time for me. ^_^

message 490: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments And I'm in WV.
We're both on our school Quiz Bowl teams (it's really fun. It's Quiz Bowl, Academic Bowl, Knowledge Bowl- it depends on where you are for what it's called) and each of our teams qualified for the finals for the Inaugural National History Bowl. My school went, but Kate's decided not to so we didn't have the opportunity to meet.

You should probably eat then

Anna- Yay! a lot of people live in the Eastern Time Zone

message 491: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Yeah, I knew you are in WV. :)

Oh, that's cool, but unfortunate that you didn't get the chance to meet.

I should ^_^

I know I live in the same time zone as Taylor, but I can't remember anybody else at the moment. I want to say Amelia lives in Cali. And Zareen? I dunno.

message 492: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Just making sure. :)

Yeah, oh well. We might meet in June (or at this coming year's National History Bowl)

Most definitely

Yeah, Amelia lives in SoCal- and went to college in texas. ^_^ (I't pretty scary how much I know about you all)

message 493: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Really scary. O.o Just kidding. I mean, I knew you lived in WV and Amelia lives in SOCal. I didn't know that's where she went too college, tho. Weird, that's where my sister's looking. Do you know how old she is, heh?

message 494: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Maybe.....that's creepy, Nat. I'm not helping your stalkerish tendencies anymore!

message 495: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Anymore? You never have! Wah!

Kate and I go to camp together, and I met her there a few years back. She was talking about goodreads when we were there a few weeks ago, and convinced me to make an account.
